I like your Nightmare Gate design, ShadowFire, but it\'s just hard to think of him as Gate without the lab coat, for some reason. I guess that\'s just always how I recognized him.

Ash, the dashing Gate is awesome. That armor is very difficult to draw, and, so is that pose! =D

Okaaay... sorry to double-post, and sorry to bump this topic.. but.. this topic shouldn't die, and I figure I have something worthwhile to add to it.


Mechadrake Oekaki is having a genderswapping theme, so I figured I'd have a little fun with Gate. He should know better than to build and tinker with reality-bending devices. That's an airgun he/she's holding. For those of you who don't know (all three of you), an airgun is loaded with a cartridge of liquid drug, which is then injected by way of a blast of air. Normally, Gate prefers shots in the shoulder, but he/she feels very irreverantly about Zero... so.. he get's "special" treatment.. XD

Gate and Ikusu... can you feel the love?

Looks like Ikusu escaped from the study tank Gate had him locked in. Gate stuck him with several doses of anti-virus, though... and as it travels through the blood, it damages any of Ikusu's cells it comes in contact with, including those in the blood vessel walls.

Fortunately, Gate has used this strain of anti-virus on Ikusu before, so Ikusu will recover.

Well, this one is much more recent (I finished it just minutes ago). Gate is plotting some undoubtedly genius project... and yes, geniuses are normally eccentric. What a shame, it's normally interpreted as insanity... *slowly backs away*

WHY don't people ever comment on stuff like this anymore? It actually makes me mad. Because that's awesome. You know how I feel about the first pic, and yeah, that second one is great! You're getting sooo good at facial expressions. :3 I don't want this topic to die, either. ;-; It feels like every art-type topic up here always dies, and we get stuck double-posting if we wanna put anything up. x.x

Wait a little while before saying that, Ri, for that last picture there is just so awesome I just have to comment on it. The proportions are good and the pose is great, and the expression even greater! Don't you just love the facial expressions of mad scientists when they have just thought up something evil to do again? His eyebrow seems to be bend just a tad too much, and the ear seems a bit out of place with it being surrounded by all that hair and no single string of it covering the ear, but aside from those minor things, it's awesome.

I see, looking back to it. Which is kinda sad, seeing as how some of the pictures are really good.

Despite that we have enough members with artistic ability(I think we do, at least), this community just doesn't seem to interested in contributing both art and feedback. I'm not sure what it is - laziness, lack of interest, or simply they feel discouraged from posting here because nobody really does. Admittingly I'm no better. Several times I've thought about trying to get something going on in this section, but became apathetic before I made an effort. Topics like this and the MS Paint one are great though; it allows anyone who wants to the chance to participate with artwork.

As for the drawings here themselves - Shadowfire I haven't looked at your extensively but from what I have seen, that last Gate picture of yours would have to be my favorite. The expression is flat out great.

Well, I listened to Move Your Dead Bones and Weird Science too much... so, here's Gate raving in his lab, or something, with Nightmares as backup dancers.

I hope this image isn't too big. I couldn't find any rules or guidelines concerning image sizes on the board. My monitor is 1280x1024, so, if it looks fine on here, it doesn't necessarily look good elsewhere.
