Topic: The wait is over... Introducing IOBoard!
A seventh board for this website, and most likely the last one.

I also noticed that, in a thread, you can't tell whether or not people are currently online.
I just noticed something else...
The HP bar just below the name isn't always full. Can Doc and the Mods sap HP as a sort of warning system? That would be clever come to think of it. Kind of a visual warning like the yellow card in soccer.
And why no "Preview Post" button?

"I worship the Supreme Comrade Cossack!"
Can I get an example where the HP bar isn't always full? HP and MP are currently set to stay at 100%, so anything otherwise is odd... Their values will change in the future, but there's nothing related to that now.
The "Preview post" option is something that I merely overlooked. It will be included in the next board version.

He means the EXP bar, it's never to be full, correct?
Well....aside from leveling and rereaching it.

Fight, Megaman! For everlasting peace! ~ :o
And we could use MP as a sort of flood protection? Have it drain with every post, and then have it reset at midnight?
Oh, and as for the HP/MP bars not being full, I remember that from the last board. The board, I'm starting to miss a little, though.
"I worship the Supreme Comrade Cossack!"
It replaces the stars. Means the same thing.

Perhaps, taking it to a whole new level, if you are reported, you lose HP, when you post, you lose your MP for 60 seconds when it slowly comes back, once it is back you can post again, I think that would be cool.
Or, you could have board members battle each other or something. Not that it's feasible, Just that I always supported it and thought it was cool.
I support Ribitta's idea, except you only lose a set amount of HP/MP, so more prominent members can post faster and take more reports before being drained of dying. Or the MP lost can depend on post length, and HP lost can depend on the severity of the offense.

Just curous Doc, when someone reports someone, do you see who reported it?
Just remindin' y'all...
I also noticed that, in a thread, you can't tell whether or not people are currently online.
Yah I noticed that too, do you plan to get rid of it for good? or put it up later Doc?
I think we need something to tell when posts are read. Yes, I have heard of the "mark posts read" button, which works just as well. But when I click it (if I'm correct about the Mets being the indicators for that), it marks ALL posts read on the entire board and not just that topic.
If we don't have a normal "mark posts read" button, then the e-mail notifcations need to come back, in my opinion. Because we need some way to tell what we read.
I like the board design; it is much smoother then the old board. It will just take some getting used to. And I haven't noticed any extra options in the profile?
It will say that you have read the topic, but since there is a small problem, you have to read twice, and the button clearly says: "mark ALL posts as read"
How about a feature that takes us to the first unread post in a topic?

Eh, I have noticed something in a lot of ther boards that we don't have here, a fast reply, have you ever thought of putting it in?

We've got fast reply over at EXE Warriors and swear by its awesomeness. It's great when you don't need to throw in any fancy effects and just want to post a reply quickly.
Hey beautiful people, you're better off trying to e-mail me than message me on here.

If he wasn't, we'd still be using XMB.
This is beautiful. Wow. I absolutely love the layout. (The background still isn't to my taste, but that's a matter of my taste preferring a light-colored background. Board features just rock with this new version.)
You rock, Doc. You rock. Seriously.

I have a problem that's the opposite... there are times where I can't load the message board, but the rest of the site, and once I get back onto the board, everything in the past week or so that's gotten new replies is marked as unread, whether I've read them or not.
