I'm curious about Link's techniques. Basically, I want to know if the bombs are still nerfed. It was pretty useful in the first game, but in the second, it was rather pointless. But I'm glad the Clawshot's tether grapple ability has been improved loads.

As for Ness... eh. Never really cared for him, even though I enjoyed cannonballing him across the battlefield.

And they need Luigi back. That headbutt attack of his was just evil when it exploded.

Stumbled onto that two nights ago and laughed for a while. XD

As for the update, it's Yoshi's Final Smash! When Yoshi grabs as smash ball, he sprouts wings and starts to spit fire at everyone!

And as a bonus, a sample of the music that plays in Smashville, the Animal Crossing stage! It's Go K.K. Rider! I am pleased with how this one turned out.

It's not as exciting as another newcomer, but it's still two updates in one!

Actually what yoshi does for his final smash he is capable of doing in some mario games. It is possible to get a winged yoshi (although i'm not completely sure how)and I know that if you eat certain enemies in yoshi's island, yoshi can shoot fireballs or breathe fire or something like that.

Ah. That makes sense. Though his Final Smash is called "Super Dragon."

Yes, if I recall, Yoshi turns blue and sprouts wings in Super Mario World in....Cheese Bridge 1? If my memory serves. There was either some sort of powerup, or a separate Yoshi.

..now that I think about it, it might've been a koopa shell you swallow. Could be wrong though.

Mostly right. In Super Mario World, if Yoshi had a koopa shell in his mouth (not swallowed), he would get the power of the shell color.

Yellow - Earthquake Stomp
Red - Fireball
Blue - Wings
Green - No Power

You could also find baby Yoshi eggs in secret levels. You could get a red, blue, or yellow one, and after feeding it items or enemies, it would grow into a big Yoshi.

In addition to the normal power of whatever shell they ate, they would get their own color's power.

Ridley is too big to be a playable character. The largest you'll get is Bowser and Kong. And no, don't start in with Giga-Bowser, that's a special case. Ridley will either be an Assist Trophy or a Boss.

And if he's a boss, we'll be hard-pressed to spam him with missiles.

This also obviously means Xemnas' knight form will be a boss, for he is too big to be on the playable character list. >___>

If he has the same chance as Snake then he's already in, Snake has been confirmed basically, he's already been in a couple of trailers. Although it I am hoping as well to be able to be Sora. It would be quite cool.

and don't forget that the character also need to be a little appealing to western countries (not that Sora isn't famous here, i mean, look at Teej! no offence)

Sora only appeared in ONE nintendo Game and that was in my oppinion the worst of the three KH games (not that it's bad, just no as good as the other 2)

They have stared in ONE nintendo game each. Neither were really popular, but they were 1st person games.

Sora has stared in one Nintendo game. He has been extremely popular in the few years he has existed. Is not a 1st party character.

As Mettaur actually shsowed (I believe) Sakurai's poll also included Sora.


Nomura also stated he would like Sora in a smash game.



Sora's chances really are not that bad if you pull everything up.

Actually, if you want to get technical, Pit did star in Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters for Gameboy. XD

But I see your point.

And Miyamoto and Kojima are good friends, which is why there was a remake of MGS1 on Gamecube to begin with. That probably had some weight in his inclusion.
