What would be a half decent update is ruined by the fact that they have practically already told us this...I'm hoping for a new GOOD mode, or a new character, or a confirmation of an old character that was changed a lot (like I'm hoping ganondorf will)
The only half-interesting tidbit out of today is the fact that the nunchuk configuration features motion-sensing to perform smash attacks. But how would you even charge it? Sounds impractical to me, but what do I know.
I'm kind of upset that I stayed up for this one last night...XD

I don't hold my breath for super mega awesome updates and neither should you.
I've lost all faith in the upates...Widescreen format? That's nothing important...that's practically expected. Sure it came with new music, but still...

Even after becoming Wario-Man, you control him as you normally would. And he doesn’t unleash any overwhelmingly powerful attacks.
But he is able to negate a variety of moves and boasts some rather odd abilities...

His midair moves make him fly?!
His special moves are also powered up, but the one thing you can’t do is ride his bike.

On Project Epsilon's cbox, Teej said that today was the original release date for the game, and that there should be an epic update. He hopes that the update is the last third-party character, so that he can finally confirm Sora and lol at all of us.
Today's "epic" update is the Friends List.

Nothing really special today: returning Pokemon.
BUT, it seems that Mew or Celebi drop some sort of special item, like a CD, when they appear.
Any ideas what it may be?
EDIT: Since no one has posted... well, time for latest updates. Again. Latest updates include information on the Smash Ball, and a new BGM (X: Tunnel Scene). Also, the latest is King Dedede's Final Smash: Waddle Dee Army.
Basically, a crapload of Waddle Dees ransack the level.

My guess is that those CDs are TMs that give you a one-shot technique for use.

Today's update talks about fighting against strangers online. What if someone is lame and disconnects on you? No problem! His character's taken over by the CPU so you don't interrupt your match!

Today's update is, um, Bonsly.
Pick the Pokemon up, and throw it, and hope for a hit. It won't travel very far, as its very heavy, but it hurts like hell, apparently. Even if you're below 50% damage, there's a good chance of it sending you into the great blue yonder.

Most of the updates, I'm sorry to say are just fillers because of the delay.
Masahiro Sakurai had all the updates he was going to put up in order, but the delay let 3 extra months of delay, so you get these useless filler updates. (ex. Widescreen Support)
