Double update...Assist trophies! Stafy and Waluigi.



Stafy gets his oft-desired cameo, and Waluigi is proven to not be on the roster. Not a bad update, by recent standards!

Indeed, the assist trophies serve as brief support attacks. Stafy tackles enemies, while Waluigi stomps them into the dirt, then kicking them or hitting them with a tennis racket.

Wow...two things that we hadn't seen before!

I am amazed.

Sooo... latest updates include new level and some level music. So, new level? Frigate Orpheon, the starting zone in Metroid Prime 1. The level apparently can invert itself. It can also loose power, so that the only illumination is the glowing floor panels.

At some point, that place should crash into Tallon IV and THEN lose it's power.

Team Healer

you can pick it up and throw it at someone to heal him

very handy if your friend/teammate is in trouble, but it can also heal your enemy in team battles.

Yeah, sure, the new video is nice, but its nothing we haven't seen before elsewhere.

So, it's awesome. Nothing new, but at least it's cooltastic.

Except footage of Ike and Bowser busting out the trophy gun.

Not to mention a brief glimpse of Meta Knight as a player character in SE, which probably means that he's on the good guys' side and that the Halberd was hijacked by the Primid.

GoNintendo is reporting that Mr. Inafune has stated that there are no plans for Mega Man in Brawl.

this is the same wario you can play with, except with a different outfit.

this this might mean that some "clone characters", like Dr. Mario, Falco or Pichu, might return as secondary outfits for Mario, Fox, and Pikachu. and with the introduction of Lucas, Ness might be a secondary outfit

(on a side note, only Wario has this today, the secondary outfit title is something i thought that might be possible, this might only be the case with Wario)

Well, the update DOES say that Wario alone is special, so... I dunno. Hopefully others get the same treatment, though.

Megaman- Out.

Geno- Ha was a party member from one game. An important one, yes, but still just a party member.

Sora- Yes.



Also, despite how much I love Warioware, I love Wario's alternate outfit...although I guess it doesn't matter, seeing as how oone is gonna play as him anyway.

One reason why Sora cannot be in Brawl: there's gravity. His hair would look like Riku's. =O

So the gamestore I pre-ordered at is a private-owned store, so they can stock games whenever they get them in.


First he told me that he'd have BRawl in the store by Feb 3rd. Awesome, a week early.


Today, he said he wouldn't have it in February...


....cuz it would be in stores by the end of January.

Speaking of pre-order, I just went and did so today finally. Gamestop guy he told me he heard picmin guy was in game. Don't remember where he heard that, but just thought i'd throw that out there. Gamestop rocks as well. Buy a game at WalMart, some 800 year old guy scans the game gives it to you. Gamestop, there nice and talk to you about games and how cool this and that is. At least in my stores case.

Too bad the update fails today. Just the next batch of Melee stages: Yoshi's Island, Corneria, Onett, Brinstar, and Rainbow Ride.
