InactiveI say that the new characters are all very good additions. Although Snake himself not up on my list, the fact that he opens up the doors for a ton of third-party additions would be sweet - seeing Sigma (X8) and Zero ganging up on a knocked out Mario would be like a dream come true.
Also, the addition of third-party characters will get those Sonic & Tails fanboys to shut up for good.
What I want to see is a boss on every stage of Adventure, and the return of the Fighting Polygons/WireFrames to Classic Mode.
But no matter what, this game will be exceptionally awesome, though Nintendo did miss some characters they needed to put in: Ike, Black Knight, Jimmy T. (how could they?), and for my third-party dreaming , MegaMan (classic), and Bass.

I've never heard of the first three, but having Megaman in there would rock.
Eh, they'd be more likely to put in the MegaMan.EXE instead of Classic. Seeing how it's the "new" Mega Man.

InactiveI'd have to disagree. Seeing as Classic MegaMan not only has had more games than .EXE on Nintendo systems, and the fact that he already has fluent 2-D controls, he's the prime choice. And because of MegaMan and Bass, Bass is likely to be the "villain" counterpart to him.
Ike is the main character of Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
Black Knight is a (flippin' sweet!) villain from the same game.
Jimmy T. is from WarioWare. With Wario in, they better get Jimmy in or else I'll have a few choice words for the big N.

Well apart from all of the new characters, I wanna see some Fox baby! I have seen nothing so far of the newly modeled Fox. I aslo wonder if we have to do friend code stuff to play online with friends?

Then I'm totally screwed, since I don't know how the DS' online capablities work. Heck, I didn't even know the DS had online capablities until now.

Fox! Pretty much one of the best old school character ever. Slippy or Wolf would 0wn too much though. That just made my day!

Ohhh, I didn't think about Wolf... Drop Falco and give me Wolf anyday! That could be really nice!

Wolf is easily cooler than Fox in my opinion.

Really? I'm quite content with his new look, considering it corresponds with his appearance in Command, the most recent game.
The thing is, the characters in Command look like crap compared to Assault or 64. They have that wierd, low-color plastic effect going on that could have definitely been improved.

even the Adventures-look beats the one from Command. but this version looks pretty cool, very high tech.
a nice addition might be that some characters have special color edits.
like Peach in SSBM , one of her costumes looked like Daisy.
it might work for Fox and Wolf, Fight like Fox, Look like Wolf, or even Krystal

Before you discuss my mentioning of voice actors, Fox, and Krystal to the point where we have to shoot it and put it down, I was referring to a change of voice if you changed Fox into Wolf.

and i was more talking about a change of costume and not a change of character, Peach didnīt change into daisy in SSBM, she just dyed her hair and put on an other dress.
well, give Fox a Wolf outfit. not changing the character completly.
and forget the whole Krystal thing.
