Indeed, as well as SNES, NES, N64 and Wii games. All must be downloaded.

THE END!

So I could pop in a gamecube disc and it would work fine?

Correct. The top of the Wii can be opened to reveal four GameCube controller slots and two memory card slots. As such, you can play your games in the exact same way as you do now on a GameCube, and you even carry on your save files.

Kind of a DUH! Of course it can play Wii games. WHy would the Nintendo Wii not play Wii games. And you should have Specified that the Wii games don't have to be downloaded

All the more reason to sell your GC but keep the games. If a game like PSO could go online for the GC can you use the same connection with your Wii playing the same game?

How can the Wii be God if it has not yet been created? Furthermore, it cannot be God as God has no creator.

Go with that or exploit a religious loophole, it's up to you.

Dr Cossack can adminstrate his own forum, and the moderators are more than capable. They don't need some spammer to tell them to lock every other topic, regardless of content.

I knew that someone would mention replacing a GameCube with a Wii, but don't do that just yet: the Cube can still do more than it's little brother will. For example, a few games such as Kirby Air Ride and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! can be played with more than 4 players by linking several GameCubes (with the matching number of TV sets). The Wii won't allow you to do that. The same probably applies to Phantasy Star Online.

Also, some people own a GameBoy Player to play their GBA titles on a big screen. The Wii won't support that attachment.

Exactly. I just wish I could actually get my PSO, online. But the Hunter's License is a rip-off.

I may actually get a GBA player at some point. Playing MMZ4 on a big screen would be uber sweet!

Hollow, I know this kid in real life, he needs way more than that. Just scold him alot for now and that'll slow him down.

Anyway, I had no idea that it had four GC controllers, although, I'm aware that was a given. Nevertheless, I hope to see Wii with it's own adapter to bring GBA games to the big screen.

I'd like DS, but with the touch screen function. I don't see it happening any time soon, unless Nintendo makes a deal with every TV creating company so they can support the DS touch screen function. Like that's gonna happen.
