An article here says that there is definitely going to be a Metal Gear Solid movie.

Now, things like this are NEVER for certain, but if it came from Kojima himself, I see little reason to doubt it.

I want the original Metal Gear Solid (PSX / GC) to be the story for this movie. Second would be MGS 4, third MGS3. I won't even count MGS 2 into the running, nobody would be stupid enough to use that for a movie XD.

I have but one fear, that it will turn out to be like Spirits Within; a shell of the awesomeness it could have been.

Well if it's live action there could be a conflict, in that David Hayner is the voice of Snake but he probably looks nothing like Snake.

So for that sake I hope it's all CGI or Anime.

I say CGI. Why? MGS cut-scenes alone are enough for a movie, I don't see a reason for doing it any other way.

Plus, anime might not be as well recognised by the MGS community. Most of the fans wil want to see CGI or real acting.

Either way is fine with me, but Konami has to appeal to a braod spectrum of audiences.

If they do this right, I don't see why it should fail.

Anyhow, it'd be stupid to start the game with MGS1... would have to start at MGS3, MG, MG2: Solid Snake, MGS1, MGS2, and MGS4. HAHAHAHHAA AAAAAAAAA COLONEL STOP SHOWING ME YOUR SKULL *turns code coff*

I just hope it's good. Some of the game to movies were not that great. Advent Children was proboly the best one to date. Anyway, I think they should go in chorniclogical order, not by games, but by time. So I belive that MGS 3:Snake Eater would be first.

To be honest, I have never really been 'into' the MGS series. I've been interested, but I never actually played one. That is until my parents last Christmas bought me MGS 3: Snake Eater, so excuse me if I am wrong about anything MGS. If they come out with a MGS movie or collection even, I'll defenetly take a look. I enjoy the seires now more than ever.

Anyway, in a way Kia's right. In any of the games there is enough movie material to keep you watching for hours. Why bother make a movie?

I got an idea why: to explain some things that weren't explained in the games, and to give that little "extra" thing to the series.


Oh, and Met, David Hayter DOES look quite alike Snake.

I suggested MGS because that is the first MG I played, and it is a solid choice.

I don't really have a problem with Raiden, as such, he's just not as good a character as Snake.

I hope in MGS4 he'll actually be a badass Ninja, like he should be. Not some wig-wearing emotional screw up. (No offence to emotional screw ups, I know some myself).

I also started with MGS. (Specifically: MGS:TTS, the gamecube remake.)

Raiden never wore a wig. XD He's really *that* blonde and dude, Rose is a worse character than Raiden. She's all like "OMG YOUR ROOM IS EMPTY LIKE YOUR SOUUUUUL." and I'm like, "...ohgod stop it Rose." MGS2 was more about screwing with your head... it appears. XP

Yeah, Tom Cruise would be kind of annoying.
