So has anyone else seen this movie?

I saw it earlier tonight. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the movie, though I don't hold it in the same regard that I held Batman Begins with. I thought Kevin Spacey was a delightful prick as Lex Luthor, and Brandon Routh did a good job as Superman. I would have liked to have seen more of Superman though.

No, but I've thought of it. I looked kinda cheezy to me, though some superhero movies lately haven't been too bad, so meh. I'd like to know more about it, how long, a rating would help, and how much action.

Luthor does look as you say though. That's what has my interest the most, I enjoy a good laugh.

I can't wait to see this movie. It's been so long since I last saw anything Superman related. I personally think that Christopher Reeve was the best Superman ever, rest his soul. I'm thinking of buying Superman 1 through 4. (I think that's how many movies Reeve had done as Superman) I think he did a spectacular job. Gene Hackman was a pretty good Lex Luthor back in the day as well.

I can't wait to see Superman Returns, just for the fact I can have a whole new outlook on a new set of actors playing as some of the most memorable characters in history.

I'd really like to see it too, but it actually isn't in theaters where I live until tomorrow.

I think it looks pretty good. I wish they would stop showing the one picture where they fire the bullet and it bounces off Superman's eye... it just isn't as cool as they seem to think, yet they use it for the dramatic end of every commercial.

But come on, he deflected a bullet with his eye. HIS EYE.

If my eyes were that strong, I could watch X-Men 3 again.

Actually, Brian Singer and the original director of the Superman movie switched projects.. the guy who was going to direct Superman Returns directed X-Men 3 instead.... and Brian Singer took over Superman Returns.. which is why Superman came out so well, and X-3.. not so well...

If it's anything near X-men 3 I'll have to leaern to cope awith one eye. Just so it's not that or that piece of crap Brainiac Attacks thing on Toonami, honestly Luthor was a kid with a big body.

I thought Brainiac Attacks was pretty cool, but I only watched the first half. I wasn't going to wait until Brainiac turned back into his lame green self. He was cool as a giant one eyed regenerating robot.

Liveaction Superman is usually lame, but maybe they didn't do so bad this time, I might see the movie, I dunno.

I've always hated Superman. I've always felt that he was the Sephiroth of superheroes: Too overrated, and overly buffed up in all media.

But what the hell, I'll see it.

Wheee, saw it last night. Honestly, I've never been a Superman fan, but it really was a good movie... Just... fun to watch, the actors did a good job, all that. As far as I see, it's just something that you have to take with a grain of salt- enjoy the movie at face value, and don't go looking for plot holes because you WILL find them. ^^;

That and he's got virtually every power under the sun, his character was essentially the paragon of virtue from the moment his comic began leaving little to no room for development, and is just...bad. I have nothing against the original incarnation. Slightly overpowered, but nonetheless acceptable for the 1930's. However, he's become essentially omnipotent in the years since.
