... By the looks of it, it's about as big as a finger/thumb/toe nail. So no, it's not really anything special.
I mean, I may be wrong, but that sort of looks like the photogropher/holder has the blue thing under a fingernail... and it's pretty large in the photo. So this thing is zoomed in pretty far.

I personally think the ant bites are a lot more annoying them mosquito bites. At least mosquito biites STOP ITCHING when you scratch and or dig your fingernails into them, and they don't fill up with white stuff (it's not pus; it looks more lik a zit).
That and I've never scratched a mosquito bite enough to rub the skin off; a place which has now gotten severly infected.
