I'm just wondering if any of you have some info on Nintendo's next handheld cause I have no clue and I'm not sure if there is any spill out there.

I haven't even heard the slightest rumor about a new handheld, unless you mean the Lite but I doubt that.

Considering that the "Wii" is often used in penis jokes, would it be out of taste to suggest that it's sister handheld would end up as the subject of a slew of well, it's female counterpart?

Well if anyone want to take any wild guesses,I don't know what nintendo will come up with to surpass the DS Lite.

I doubt Nintendo's even considering a new handheld at the moment..

I mean, does the DS even have a library over 100 now?

Yeah we'll probably hear something early next year or this winter,and yeah the DS Lite COPLETELY overshadows the GBA Micro(I didn't like the Micro )

I think I heard somewhere (maybe GameInformer) that while they had originally planned to continue the Gameboy series seperately from the Nintendo DS project, they've now realized that the DS has had so much success there's not really a reason to follow up on a new project at the time. So I wouldn't expect anything new in the line of a Gameboy any time soon.

Nintendo was supposed to continue the Gameboy series after the DS, they said the DS is NOT a Gameboy, but with the succes of the DS, they propably stop with the Gameboy and keep on going with the DS

As creative as Nintendo is I don't know how they what they will come up with next.They have used touch screen,motion censors and stuff maybe they will use a new modern technology and mix it with the game system.

Nintendo's next big innovation probably will involve neural receptors and virtual reality that will allow you to mentally and physically interact with games, thus bluring the line between fact and fiction nearly to the point of null and void.

Or we could get piece of bacon in soy sauce for all I know.

I did, however, hear awhile ago that the next handheld would be a GameBoy nearly on par with the GameCube. Something like this seems far off, so even if it does happen, it might not be until after the Revolution's/Wii's lifespan is at least half spent and the DS is on a downhill slope.
