Chia pets is a growing fad. Kids, adults, and the elderly seem to like them. Dont you think you'd like them. They have chia plants, chia animals, chia movie charactors. If you dont have one you can always get one in the future. They realy are fun to watch. Thier great decorations for inside the house, frontyard, backyard and as gifts for others. For information and cool pictures check the links. But instead of buying them you could post other stuff. Like saying if you like them or would want them. What do you feel about Chia pets?

Chia pets suck. They've overpriced terra cotta and..err..babys breath? I can't remember the plant, but it grows very fast, probably is a weed or cow feed or something.

Cacti are far better, yes. So are snake plants. And ferns. Alot of succulents..

Couldn't this whole thing have technically gone into the fad thread?

Allow me to quote the first line on that page:

"Bogus parody news with funny satirical humor thrown in for fun!"

You, Sir, have been fooled.

I'm not sure that I've seen one of those in front of my eyes, so it's hard to say if I like them or not. It looks neat, although I'll stick with my cactus plant!

I dunno. Maybe a Chia Herb garden, but otherwise I don't see the point when I could have a perfectly good cactus. Minimal watering, and lots of light. Simple...

Or even owning an herb garden, they're easy to maintain and can be put in your house next to your sink. Practical -and- good looking! I dunno what the fad's all about, I personally could make my own Chia if I wanted to...>.>

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

You dont know what the fads about? I'll tell you then. Basicaly its a thing that grows very fast. Its fun to watch it grow. Plus they have all sort of animal, herb, and cartoon, and movie people made of clay. They have alot of looney toon characters. Simpson(cartoon). Shrek, Madisgascar. So its mainly bent toward children for those deseigns. But adults can enjoy them too. So basiacaly sfter it grows its great for neat decoration.

Erm... in simpler terms: A chia pet is a terra cotta figure, shaped like an animal, or a movie character, or a toon, or whatnot. The figure is hollow, and the outside is covered in ridges. You smear paste and seeds onto the outside, and dump water in the inside. The seeds grow into little bitty plants that cover the figure, making it poofy and green.
