I held the sharp blade a hair breath's length away from my wrist. I wanted to press the blade deep into my wrist and watch the flow forth. But i couldnt... NO! I had to!

I placed the knife upon my left wrist, willing myself to go ahead to, to cut myself. I added pressure, my thumb on the top of the handle. I watched as my skin protested this intution. Then i gasped.

And that's when I knew that I was cutting the wrong way. Hell, I got lucky with that close call. Adjusting my direction I continued to slice. I didn't actually want to die after all, I just wanted attention because my life sucks--even though I have the perfect life. It's that A- that spoils it all.

Unless of course the story deals with someone who's actually suicidal.

I wish the lawn was that emo.. then it'd cut itself. Also, unless you have an actual plot, other than someone cutting themself, I'd suggest NOT continuing.

Trials? This story either applies to suicidal people or attention seeking emos. Percentage lies in favor of the latter, who have no trials whatsoever.

However your point is still duly noted.

I meant people with actual chemical imbalances and clinical depression. The emo fakers trivialize (yay overusing the word B|) people who really are in need of help, and people who really are mentally ill. Am I one of them? No. Do I know any? No. Am I offended? No. It's still a valid point though ; )

Then maybe you should have written more than two short little paragraphs to show that. Come on, at least a page or two. What's with people writing such short parts to their stories, anyway?

Well, if you have a plot, I hope it's more developed than the emo-ness shown thus far.

God, it's bad enough that my friend makes me read any stories he thinks about putting up, then when he clicks through to the suicide fics, and the angsty crap and starts bawling his eyes out.. it's unspeakable what the owners tolerate on that site...

They really don't have much of a choice on what to tolerate. Because taste is subjective--even if this stuff does suck--and where do they draw the line on removing things?

Mainly they draw the line on graphic sexual content, like lemons and such. That, and spam.

What I meant by spam was things like when people would post something about how they're so pissed off about how their favorite game was released one one system and not another. Things like that.

And yes, I've actually seen idiots post things like that on that site.

And I do know that you can still find lemons on ff.net. You can get away with it sometimes. Just not with things that're extremely detailed about the sex, there are plenty of people on that site who will report it.
