As the board's local KH-fanboy, I figured it was MY responsibility to bring up the semi-old news that Chain of Memories will be COMPLETELY remade for the PS2, including 3-D graphics, triangle commands, and voiceovers. The game will still include the plot, as well as Reverse/Rebirth. It is to be bundled with Final Mix+, but American Release has been announced as "possible", since we had no extra bonuses of our own in our version of KH2. The chances of getting JUST the CoM remake and not Final Mix has better odds....but that's the only part of this bundle that truly rocks anyway.

Already heard of this news, but it DOES sound awesome. Now they've got a use for the official renders of the other Organization members. And we could possibly get voice actors for them, too!

VA's have already been confirmed for all Organization members. My only worry is Sora....HJO is gonna have some trouble re-creating his old Sora voice, I fear. >.O Hoping they can either digitize his voice to make it sound similar, or get a very smilir VA to do that job.

You mis-understood me. No OFFICIAL VA's have been confirmed, but it has been confirmed that each organization member will have a speaking role. Unless I mis-understood you, as well....>.O

No. We're just discussing the game, US or not. But it's been said that the chance of getting it stateside is greater because of our lack of KH2 bonuses this time around. Also, the trailer for said game used the song "Sanctuary" rather than "Passion", which also reeked of suspicion. And don't forget the fact both KH2 and CoM sold better state-side

I'd rather have Final mix almost, CHhin of Memories was a mediocre game IMO, then again, most console card based systems are mediocre... Will we get to play as Riku in the PS2 CoM though?

I'd guess so. Teej did say they were including Reverse/Rebirth, which was Riku's half of CoM's storyline.

Wow, there will be hundreds of import sales if this game isn't ported stateside..

And here I thought KH was done for the next five years. Well this seems....nice? I never got the chance to play Chain of Memories, so here it is, I guess. Though I could still get it for GBA, cheaper. Though still this should be better, should. Not saying it will be, but it should.....I think it was uneccessary however....

Thanks for posting, because I have news...sort of, anyway.

Recently, Nomura has expressed great interest in "Letting his North American Fans experience the Japanese voice-overs" which is EXACTLY what Kingdom Hearts Final Mix will do in Japan-Give English subs and a few new scenes. So, we have official opinions from Nomura himself, meaning our chances of getting Final Mix and CoM have increased by, well....ALOT.

Well I like that they put a KH game on a Nintendo system. So why don't they put this on the GC?

Cuz the Wii is too close to release for them to even bother. They'd have to put it on the Wii, and I'd hate to see how they'd try to integrate the motion sensor controllers into a KH game.

I love KHS. I'm gonna get it as soon as I can. I never got to fifnish the GBA one. It was my friends'.

Riku is OFFICIALLY playable, and Zexion's weapon, although surrounded in an aura, looks very dagger-ish. Also, the fight between Sora and Roxas is now playable.

Yes, after thinking, I've realised it is probably a morphing weapon, sch as what Zexion himself did to turn into Sora.
