You should have done "My Gospel's Better than Your Gospel" since Gospel is a dog.

My dog's better since he eats Kennelration. My dog's better than yours.

Oh well.

I don't get really bothered about contradictions on the details.

Whether he was a carpenter or a noble, I don't care. He came from the line of David, and he lived as though he were poor. Humble or majestic? I think he was able to be both at once.

The Gospels were, remember accounts of what they had seen, sort of like a witness in court. Of course Luke is almost all secondhand information anyway.

Tampered with or not, I believe God has preserved both the message, and the teachings of Jesus. Therefore I believe.

I'm afraid I am no true scholar, so I cannot answer your questions in depth. Nor can I even begin to wonder where I would look to learn that knowledge. But I can simply shrug and leave the details to wonder, while still accepting the message.

I cannot give you anything more.

MegaX has the right idea here. The Bible is not all historical fact. The Gospels do hold many facts, but they hold four different views. Though the views oppose each other, the same underlying truth lies in all four. Also, each had their own take on Jesus, hence the differing personalities. As for factual accuracy, one may be right where another is wrong - whatever. The truth is there in all four. The authors just had differing ways of showing it.
