So, over the week I was at a friends house, right? Spent the night, played games, ate pizza drank soda. Yeah, fun times. I snatched his laptop and installed the PC game "Warhammer 40k: Dawn Of War". I must say, I havn't had so much fun since my Starcraft days, it's truly amazing at how far this game wins.
Here's a screenshot of an aftermath of one of my battles.
As you can plainly see, the detail is amazing, even for DEAD UNITS.
In the game there are four races.
Space Marines, Chaos, Orks, and the Eldar. In the Winter Assault expansion you have an extra race called the Imperial Guard.
I'll see if I can't put a screenshot of a battle with non-dead units, just to let you see. Each of the races has elite units.
Screenshot with current battle.
Space Marines and their Terminater Squads.
Chaos and their bloodthirst daemons, and Obliteraters.
Eldar and their daemon god Avatar.
Orks and their giant rhino that shoots lazers from its head. Yead, odd. Thing stampedes too.
So, anyone else play this game? It's truly worth getting, especially if you like high detailed RTS games. Cause, when they say "Insane" mode, that mean INSANE. I've never been beat so badly in my life, I think I was slaughtered in under 20 minutes.
