www.ussearch.com is the best one I've found as fr as having the largest database and easily finding hard-ti-find records. They list the town of all addresses they have on file.
Below is the free report given from usinfosearch.com when entered a social security number. It seems most of their services have "cancel-before-such-and-such-a-time" options as well.
And these are rather easy to find. Google is your friend ;).

My grandmother and another now-deceased family member used to be busy with our family's "heritage" so to say. Got back for a good few dozen generations, all the way to 1250. I do not know however what sources she used for that. I'll ask her when I see her again.
I will ask my mom ASAP, because Geneology is (or was...) her number one time consuming activity....got a line back to...764 A.D., I think. O___O
And also, that Pochanis from the Disney Movie? Yeah, she was real, and I'm related to her. Praise me and my stardom.
Yes, IT IS ALL TRUE. *Goes to check mom's computer*

Hey guys, it seems he knows what he's doing with the geneaology, but just wants to find his dad through normal means to get a good start... genealogy searches don't often help with people who are alive... correct me if I'm wrong about saying this, Wind.
If he's looking for his father to search, go to wwwPeopleSearch.com. If costs a little money, but if you know what your father's name is, Wind, you can get all the info you need (current residence, phone number, previous residence, current names, etc.) for a low amount of money. It actually works, my older half-brother found our family with the site.
Anyways, geneaology is addicting in my family as well... I learned I'm related to Lt. Maynard, the man who killed Blackbeard the Pirate and stuck his head on the front of his ship as he sailed back with the news for the Queen of England. O.o
You can do better then that.
My husband is directly descended from Marie Antoinette and a few other noteworthy people, and I am royalty in Sicily with a newly found actual ability to claim the title.
Okay, if we are gonna do this...
One of my ancestors owned ALL of Florida at one point.
One of my relatives crossed the Delaware in the SAME BOAT as George Washington
A navy ship was named after an ancestor of mine when he sacrificed himself in a war.
Like I said, related to Pochantis (I will NEVER spell this correctly)
and others. Lemme go look up.
