So I picked up a 'Final Fantasy Trading Arts' Figure of Tidus. I want to collect some more I think but I can't seem to find any sites with information or complete lists and the like. Anyone else collect or have any sites in mind?

All I know is there are two volumes:

Volume 1-
Cloud (FF7)
Lulu (FF10)
Riona (FF8)
Sephiroth (FF7)
Vivi (FF9)
Yuna (FF10)
Special: Zack (FF7)

Volume 2-
Rikku (FF10)
Selphie (FF8)
Tidus (FF10)
Tifa (FF7)
Vincent (FF7)
Zidane (FF9)
Special: Vincent in Turk uniform (FF7)

Also, I know there are "chrome" colored characters in the second set but I don't remember hearing anything about that with the first. Even for the rare ones (Cloud, Sephiroth, or the specials), don't pay $20 or over for them. Usually, you could get the a whole set for around $30.

With that being said, I wish I had Zidane, Zack, and both Vincents. I really don't care about the other characters and $60 is too much to spend for both sets. ^^;

Good to know, thanks ^ ^ What's the deal with the special ones anyway?

Edit: Before I forget, are these the kind of things best left in their packaging or appreciated on display?

To my limited knowledge, the first set in Japan were in boxes. You had a random chance of getting any 7 (14 if you count the chrome colored versions) characters, hence why there was a special one. Special ones were also not suppose to be advertised with the set, but many stores show them anyways. ^^;

In America, the first set was packaged like regular action figures (plastic cover with cardboard card back). I never seen a American release of Zack so I think the only way to get him is by auction sites or Japanese online stores.

I haven't seen the second set in America... yet, if they are planning on selling them. So... You are only stuck with getting the Japanese's random boxes or already opened ones.

To open or not to open, that is the question. It's all about preference and what you are planning to do with them. If you are going to sell them later on, keep them in their boxes. But as I always say, why deprive the figure their purpose in life. Give them air! B)
