Um, can someone tell me the difference between Crosses and Souls? Cause I honestly can't tell. And don't give me that, "LAWLS YOU CAN USE A CROSS FOR AS LONG AS YOU WANT! SOULS ONLY 3 TURNS!" This also make me wonder why there weren't Chaos Crosses, or Beast Souls. Well, to me, Souls and Crosses are the same thing for the most part. Post what you think.

I really don't think they've got a story-wise function. Think of Crosses as Souls 2.0. Capcom saw that Souls suck, so they made them better.

I actualy think they worsened them, I liked having the challenge of using a Soul for only 3 turns.

Screw that. Crosses rocked. Then again, Tengu Man rocks. Anything that is an extension of him, including a Cross, therefore automatically rocks.

A Soul Unison is formed by a friendship or union between MegaMan and another Navi.

A Cross is more technical, as MegaMan gets one by learning and adapting the methods of other Navis.

Forte? Well, in the movie, Bass absorbs Mega and SOMEHOW becomes a Cross. Which makes little sence to me. In the game, I don't remember, it's been awhile since I played it.

Yes, he did, which is what caused the Navis and operators to allow Lan free use. But the cross itself was formed through the learning of techniques as opposed to a friendship or union-based system, like souls.

But still, if you were in that universe, would you REALLY wanna link up with someone you hated?

Actually, Morph, based on how the Cross System works, if Mega were to spend enough time fighting the other Navis, he eventually may adapt and configuere to their abilities. So, technically, you're right.

I'm not saying you should go and try to take 122345:23:02 to beat BlastMan, though...

BAH to styles. Crosses do the SAME elemental stuff, except with cool armor fusion. AND it's switchable on the fly.

So were Souls.

But Souls only last three turns. Crosses are indefinite. Also, you don't gotta off a chip to turn on a Cross.

@ Doc: I liked the armors too, the only trouble being they didn't change Mega at all - I mean, no even on NT, where even a recolor or something would suffice!

That's the thing about Crosses, they are a mix between Styles and Souls, not to mention they are way to powerful.
