Okay I am not really sure how people are going to relate their posts to this topic (but).

I got a Paper Mario game a long time ago but never played it because I didn't feel like reading the entire instruction book at that time (which I always do before playing a game if I own it). Now I can't find the thing and I never even put it in the system!

I have masses of PSX games but I have no PSX. My sister kept it and she now has a GameCube while my newest system is still an N64. She was also like 6 at the time and couldn't beat "The Little Mermaid" even though it is designed to be impossible not to beat.

I have beat the SNES version of Aladdin over 300 times because I played it a lot when I was younger then my sister and cousins always wanted to play it 'cause anything else (including Mario) was too hard, but they couldn't pass the higher levels so I always had to play with them taking turns but they always died on their turn and sometimes just asked me to take their turn for them so I had no choice and was playing through the entire game (which still took about 8 hours) once a day for a few years and NOT BY CHOICE!

Eh, there's nothing wrong with old games. Honestly, half the time, I enjoy them better than the new ones, anyway. ...I still love my Nintendo. Mario 3 stills owns.

HAxx0r the original pokemon games. No, seriously, the coding and programming function of those games are pretty much completely spread across the internet as explanations for the endless number of glitches. I would say the only game I saw with more data spread across the internet is Chrono Chross, but we already have a topic for that.

I have a great love for my old games. I really enjoy my old systems to this day. I have my NES, SNES, and N64 still all hooked up to my TV. Along with newer systems like the GCN with Game Boy Player, PS2, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii. This way I have access to all my game libarary at all times. Just a month ago I went fired up my NES and played Super Mario Bros. I still love that game, it's got the perfect balance of great game play, and great music. The graphics don't even look that bad considering how old the game is. Heck, most Nintendo games look better to me than most N64 games. While old 3D graphics now look blurry and undefined, old 2D graphics are still as sharp as ever. Well unless you go too far back, like to the Atari days, that is. I guess I just see 2D games as being a bit more timeless then 3D games as a whole. For the most part I can pick up an old 2D game and have a lot more fun with it then I can an old 3D game. It's a lot harder to go back in time with 3D graphics than 2D graphics for me, am I the only one like this?

I'm a Mega Man nut... I own them all, and have them in a lighted display case to boot.
(Excluding the Battlenetwork series...which I detest.)

Oh, yeah: Pong. Go play that. Although video game industries soon after figured out that selling games based off things you cannot do in real life is a better way to make money.

Even though I was not alive when Pac-Man came out I still think it is great! I had to download it on my phone and now I always play it when im waiting in line or on the bus or something. Street Fighter 2 is still fun too.

Yes, for me its all about mario. Super Maro bros. is definately one of the best games out there period. However I have it for the GBA as I didn't get into gaming until the PS came out ( :hehe: ) and I got that, then N64, then PS2, and now 360.

Speaking of the 64 I still play Star Fox 64 or OoT on it. I have other games on it, but nothing beats those two on the 64. However Smash Bros. isn't bad every now and again.

I play StarFox 64 on an emulator. I find it easier than playing my actual copy. I tried playing the original Star Fox, but a keyboard just doesn't cut it for that game.

Original Star Fox makes my eyes bleed.

However, I go extremely hardcore oldschool with my copies of Legend of Zelda, Zelda II, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Lethal Weapon for the old NES.

I started playing the first Myst game again today, pretty fun for a game that is meant for Windows 3.1

I REMEMBER ADVENTURE FOR THE ATARI.

DnD type game with 'dragons' all abound. Looked like ducks to me. Had the first easter egg if I'm not mistaken, the name of the developer in one room. Really weird stuff.

As for old games, I love LOVE (This is a lot of love here) Excitebike. I would waste hours on that game. Days even.

That and Contra. Contra is one of my favies. <3

Reality swirled in a wholly blue manner, revealing absolutely nothing of merit. Things flashed madly in and out of existence like some entirely other sort of phenomena. On a whim, Kurt Vonnegut imploded, taking a sizeable hunk of Massachusetts with him. However, seeing as Massachusetts wasn't entirely sure it existed, the chunk wasn't all that big.

Lethal Weapon?... I can't even remember there being a game for that...

It's really oldschool. I don't know exactly which movie it was after, though.

Too bad she forgot Goldeneye and Mario64...
