I had just gotten the first in the series; "Pheonix Wright: Ace Attourney" a couple days ago, and I must say how shocked I was about my response...I had never expected a game with court trials to be this much fun, really. So, since I searched and found nothing (to my surprise) I do so believe it is time to open up an unofficial Phoenix Wright discussion topic, m'kay?

So, yes. The offical Pheonix Wright discussion topic has officially opened. I am only halfway through the first game, so my talks will be limited. >__>

Anyway, I really want to discuss Von Karma...it truly is scary to think that people such as him truly exist in the world (Although such extremes he uses aren't really common...) is sort of unnerving. I don't like pressing in the fourth case because I have to hear his voice every time I do. >__>

You must press in the fourth case in order to recieve the giant judge hammer with which you can whack the the opposing lawyer unconscious in the next case, giving you an instant win. >.>

...what does that even MEAN?

To me it sounds more like it's tyrannical and overpowering, but that's me. Convinced and powerful are other words. I am prejudiced against von Karma because of how his daughter abuses Phoenix in the sequal (And Justice For All) with the whip she is somehow allowed to have in the courtroom. I mean, come on! Where did she learn it's okay to act like that? Is von Karma's off job being part of the Diet or something?

Franziska is hot though and can do anything she wants. Not cool how she treats Gumshoe but..prosecutors seem to have it out for the poor detective.

Franzisca can have a whip because shehas a whip and can use it on whom she wants because the ones who may object her are whipped constantly.

Ergo, the whip is allowed.

Poor Gumshoe, though. ;__; NO ONE should have to listen to Moe the Clown for over a second.

I just beat Justice For All, and I've got to say, the last case pwned. The numerous twists within it made me sit on the edge of my seat the entire time, and actually being put in that situation was pure pwnage. I actually thought to myself whether I should just give up near the end, since the guy's fate was pretty much sealed anyway as a murderer, but still, WOW.

I was hoping it'd be like that, because the last case in the first game was incredible.

Compared to the first, this game hasn't been as good. Except for the whole Franziska instead of Edgeworth thing..haha.

Just don't expect any scientific investigations, it's the same old point and click, unfortunately...I was hoping for an extra case. T__T

For Ace Attorney, i liked the fourth case more then the fifth, since that was supposed to be the last.
But all the bells and whistles in the fifth made it stand out at least from the rest. If only all the games could have been on DS...
I haven't really been playing Justice for All, only on the third case so far.

Hell the game didn't seem right until she showed up again.. Excellent second case.

Hahahaha Manfred was awesome, very threatening. I liked the last case on the first game, since it seemed..pretty challenging. But so was the one before it, so...I liked them both.

I recently jsut bought the first Pheonix Wright game. I beat it in 5 days. It was short, but i loved it all, especially the objections.....:D I cant wait to get the 2nd game......

Yes, that's one of the biggest faults..the games are short and the replay value is near nonexistent.

But it's still fun as hell.

What are the Tantei games about, Make? Lawyers?

It just hit me that there's a bit of a plot hole between the games... In the first game Manfred mentions "My Grandaughter is seven and she had a pet dog named Phoenix." Yet, Franziska is only 18, this means Franziska either has a sibling, or something dirty.

Also, I prefer GS4 Payne. He has Hippie hair. And he FLIPS it.

Edgeworth is in 3, yeah. He won't die. HE'S ZERO, ACTUALLY. Seriously. Phoenix is X, Edgeworth is Zero. Blue, Red (errr..well Edge isn't exactly wearing red but the "younger" Edgeworth wears a suit that's a..kind of red)..they both fight for justice in their own ways, Edgeworth being more rash and brutal.
