I recently began an obsession with the stock market. My father opened up an account on Etrade.com and I've been piggy-backing off his portfolio to avoid paying for basic registration and investment fees. Right now I have 100 shares in a uranium mining company, 100 shares in Sirius satellite radio, and 100 shares in XM satellite radio. So I'm either going to make a huge gain on my investment(s) or lose it all and go on a homicidal rampage.

Anybody else own any stocks?

I knew that Sirius and XM were merging, that's why I thought I'd make a huge gain. Although I thought XM had more money and would be the dominant holder.

As much as I hate Howard Stern he's a cash cow for Sirius.

Yes, but I believe that XM is a much more established company then Sirius, not that I'm an XM fan. I've got my own Sirius radio, and it's opened the gates to a world of music that normal minds can't even begin to comprehend.

I just hate the fact that XM's Grunge channel airs nothing but Nirvana anymore. I'll admit I like Heart-shaped box, but I draw the line there.
