I have always had alot of faith in Bruckheimer's movies, but this seems doubtful...What makes me curious is how DISNEY got rights to the title, of all companies. @__@

Besides that. >___> A game develpor shouldn't be swayed that easily with money. EVER. They have a series that still has some life in it, and I'd doubt they'd throw it away.

I'd think the Prince Of Persia series is better for a CG movie than one with actual people. <___<

Well, at least the Persia series will make for a good plot, and won't suck nearly on the same level as Mortal Kombat, Doom, or Street Fighter.

I'd like to see a God of War movie, honestly.

They are making a God of War movie.

Okay, alot of Movies on the list got the WTF award, Toy Story 3, Prince Caspian(My fave Narnia book next to Voyage of The Dawn Treader), and the Prince Movie. Who the hell gave a bloody game about a guy with a mystic scimitar to Disney PG-13 is the highest they've gone, PoP could go up to R if they add the sequels to it...

What does that have to do with anything?

Again. I was reading it as "Magical Scitar (sp)" so thought of Demyx. XD

Demyx's weapon was a sitar, not a scitar. It's also known as the giant wang.

Hence the "sp" and the explanation.

Now we just have to pray they don't make a Kingdom Heart movie that's not CGI...

There's always fanmade movies, BD, like the Zelda one.

Thinking about it, it's funny how people say that Disney is tame but there's been serious stuff that says to the contrary:

We have villains dying for one. Also, who remembers the Bambi movie where you quite heard Bambi's mother being shot?

Even though, the movies themselves are supposed to be toned down versions of fairy tales, they still do contain death and a bit of grim.

However, yeah, I'm curious as to how Disney got PoP. Lots of money but... it just seems off to me.

I've noticed that there's a quite a lot more video game movies being made now and that's pretty scary.

Heh. I remember the character of "Man" from "Bambi" being chosen as one of the hundred most evil villains or something. He was number twenty-something I believe.
