I was thinking... (Not a word, you.)

Instead of having one seperate forum for every series... (Original, X, Zero, etc)
You could just have two seperate MegaMan forums.

One for the main series timeline (Which would encompass Classic, X, Zero, ZX, and Legends?), one for the spinoff Battle Network series (Including Star Force, of course.), and then of course the forum for non MegaMan-related games.

Now I realize the Main Series forum seems like you'd be scrunching a LOT of different topics, but from what I see it doesn't look like it'd be much of a problem.

As I've told a few other people, talking about the older games, even discussing possible theories is growing stale. With the forums as they are now, people feel a need to post in the Original forum to keep it from dying. All it really is now is one or two POSSIBLE theories and a couple "Who's your favorite this-or-that" threads. It really is dying.

By combining all the main timeline games together, people will be ABLE to post a topic concerning the Classic or X series, but they won't necessarily HAVE to.

In short, my hope is for one constantly active forum, instead of four or five seperate forums with 2 or 3 that are rarely used.

Personally, I wouldn't do that.

I already put Zero and ZX in the same forum, and Battle Network and Star Force together for reasons that I already explained.

I'll agree that some of the current forums don't get much activity. However, that's highly related to the games' releases over the year. Right now, Capcom isn't focusing on Mega Man so there's not a lot to talk about. However, if they happen to announce, say, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man X9 at the same time, the two related forums will receive a lot of posts. It would then look very cluttered if all posts were mixed.

Besides, some would argue that the Legends forum has been dead since the beginning. I don't think that's a valid reason to get rid of it.

Well, I'm not saying get RID of the forums.

I mean combine 'em all together into one more-generalized but-still-very-specific forum.

I WOULD argue that Capcom's allready stated they're not continuing the Classic or X series anymore, but then again, I've never really taken anything they've said to be permanent...
