Friday 13 moreso seems to bring me more luck than the other way around. I mean, first time light shone in my eyes was on a friday 13, too, so I regard it as just my lucky day. =]



BTW, it all started because it was on a Friday that Jesus died (aka Good Friday, last week celebrated by some), and the number XIII (13) was thought to be cursed/evil/the devil's number (not thinking 666, the number of the beast), as it was one more than XII (12), as that was a "holy" number (2x12 hours in a day, 5x12 minutes in an hour and as many seconds in a minute).

Anyways I really like the number 13, so I never think this is a bad luck day. If people have bad luck today, it's just because they notice it more often and/or have a negative outlook..meaning things seem much worse than they really are.

We should make up our own day to be superstitious about. Like... Wednesday the 2nd. Now THAT'S an evil day!

Well, tax day was a few days after this Friday the 13th. Did everyone remember to file their taxes?
Male Mallard Ducks do not cause bad luck, except in sitcoms where they down airplanes and cause car wrecks (to mock the book "Make Way for Ducklings", which by the way is the best children's book of all time).
