I'm looking at my stack of controllers, especially the wireless ones, and they're just scattered a bit around. I already have 2 Wiimotes, 2 Nunchucks, and 1 Wavebird controller just... sitting on the couch without a dedicated place for them. While I simply keep wired controllers close to the related consoles, it feels like I could do something better with the wireless units.

I was wondering if anyone had a good way to store those game controllers, with something custom-made or otherwise. I'd rather find something nice instead of leaving them scattered around. Any ideas?

Not sure about your wavebird, but places like Target and Sams Club sell this really cool Wii Stand. You place your Wii in the middle podium, to the right of it is a place to hold your games, and to the left is a set are for four wiimotes, and then a little box for holding nunchucks.

Ugh, looked on both, and couldn't find it...must not be an official Nintendo product. But I assure you they sell them, since I have one now. XP

Personally i've discovered with all the ridiculous supplies around my house that most anything can work.

It really depends on what kind of level you want expense wise. You could just make it out of a shoe box, or you could get something like http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/ref=br_1_9/601-9152510-5211309?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&asin=B000FOWAYA

Personally I believe, if you're going to organize controllers, organize the systems and games at the same time, then everything should fit toegether.

I bought one of the Wii stands - it's a tad too big for the Wii itself, but the game and controller storage works like a charm.

I've got a simple solution: a box.

Yup, just a regular cardboard box. I use one to store all my controllers. Sega, Nintendo, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, and everything else. Close the box lid in case you have a wandering/gnawing pet in your house. Just don't forget to tie the cord of the controller in a neat bundle with a string or something. Unless you like the puzzle of untangling cords when you pull one out...
