I introduce to you the Wave Scanner, a toy that allows you to buy cards, scan them, and transfer them over to your Megaman Star Force Game. You can level up the scanner for internal boosts (Airshoes, HP+, etc) It connects in the GBA slot, allowing you to transfer data over.

It's just another cash in, but I have to say it's somewhat interesting...>__>

As long as there aren't scanner-exclusive cards, I'm okay with it.

Capcom - they say the success of a Wii game may fall under, yet they spend time on card scanners... >.>

I think you get better boosts from a scanner, sort of like a navicust, that you can't get in-game...I remember seeing someone with a maxxed bsuter, 9999 health, etc, using the scanner. -__-

It's like Mega-AR or something.

I've heard about this just yesterday, as I happened to receive a card meant to be used with the Wave Scanner. The quality of the card is good (very reflexive finish), but it's nowhere as impressive on the technology front as an e-Reader card.

Honestly though, this is (kinda) old news. Each Rockman EXE title starting with 4.5 has had some sort of connection device available for it in order to scan chips or rare items. This is in line with the previous games, which goes to show even more than Star Force could have been called "Battle Network DS". ;)

But it's not BN DS! It's... no wait, it IS the same idea. >.>

Well Doc, if we DO get WiFi, I gotta get ready for the Scanners then, too.
