SPOILER ALERT. The final boss is at the very end of this clip...you'll be told when to stop.

It's an unlockable stage after beating the game with certain requirements...totally beats Ox out of the water IMO....you can also apparently use this Model A as a form...although I don't know how you'd use it effectively in game. >__>

EDIT: Also, here's the form you supposedly get for beating this minigame...or something else. People are trying to figure it out. >__>

It's cool in a nostalgia-based kind of way, but two things are wrong:

It has no super abilities.

The boss

Spoiler (click to toggle)
wasn't Sigma
:P

Of course it has no special abilities...just look at the setting. >__>

Well, it's still awesome, but I could have some super charge shot or SOMETHING to make it playable - I dunno, it can't just live on nostalgia alone.

You can apparently use it as a Model in the real game, so I'ms ure it'll be upgraded for that purpose...but enjoy the 8-bit for what it is. :P

Yeah, the 8-bit rocks. So much so that its blurriness withheld the boss' identity from me. :)

The 8-bit form is called Model a, or Model antique. Based off of the character's base form, and only has the standard, unchargeable buster and the slide. While you use that form in the mini-game, to unlock it in the normal game, you have to collect all 24 models from all of the bosses.

For a bonus Biometal, I'd prefer to have Model O instead. >.>

Agreed. The retro look is cool, but all in all, it's no real gain. I guess it gives a bit of a challenge, but that's not what super-bonuses are supposed to do.
I'd prefer Model O again or maybe a player-styled Model W just for fun.

I'm looking forward to using this model. >__> It's no doubt gonna be an awesome challenge. Imagine setting a challenge for youself: Hardest mode in ZXA, using nothing but Model a except when a switch is REQUIRED to pass a certain obstacle.

Awesome. <3

I personally would like to see all 4 Zero games redone, in 8-bit format. Mainly because of the bosses, on how they would look.

The 8-bit games are hard, that is why I like them so much. I like a good challenging game. In general I would like to see the Zero characters and bosses in 8-bit form, if anyone is up to it. FlareMan, I'm looking at you. lol

If you combine the difficulty of the 8-bit games with the difficulty of the MMZ games and its bosses, what do you get? An unplayable game. MMZ1 especially.

You might as well explode at the last boss when he appears - Copy X was enough of a pain, without being moved into the 8-bit style. Urgh.
