I never grew up on this.It was on ABC family before I was into megaman, but I was on youtube and found http://youtube.com/watch?v=cUzX8MXD-lQ
I thought it would be cool to show to fans of the X series that never had a chance to watch it like me.

I started watching this. Couldn't find Part one though, so I didn't bother finishing it.

Too bad The Protoman Homepage took down the near complete Series from their site, probably on the account of some bandwidth issues.

Still, Season One and Two were released a while back in 2003 on DVD entitled A Hero is Born and Battle for the Future. I've always been contemplating on buying them.

Apparently, this American Series' Prototype pre-series that was released in Japan was also released on DVD and dubbed with English Voices entitled Upon A Star.

For the DVDs, you can randomly find them on eBay, sometimes individually, sometimes together in one, usually priced around $20-$60 each. Upon a Star should be a more common listing, and cheaper to boot. Your next bet would be Amazon, if you want to cough up $35-$50 for A Hero is Born and $70-$100 for Battle for the Future.

Anyone looking for the old Mega Man Series Cartoon on DVD, for sentimental and nostalgic value, there's your best chance.

I love the old megaman cartons! Why is it so hard to find volume 2 Battle for the Future!?

Because the DVDs are out of print now. ^^; I think Volume 2 was hard to find even when it first came out. It took me a while to find it when I would find Volume 1 easily.

I like the show as much as I liked the old Zelda and Mario cartoons. Ah~ The 80s and 90s...
