I'd like to get Oblivion, but not only do I think I don't have enough room on my computer to play it, if I did install it I'd never finish Morrowind. >.>
And no, actually, the way the Elder Scroll games are set up make online play impossible. It just won't work, as has been stated by developers in the past.
Actually in an interview with the developers of Bethesda I read somewhere (not sure, but I thing it was IGN) They said that an MMO was a natural step for the series to take, but wether or not it will have the same exactly gameplay as oblivion or morrowind is unknown. I also do have Tribunal and Bloodmoon, and about 100 Mods installed for it, along with Oblivion (not quite as many yet), but if your computer can handle it and has enough space, oblivion is well worth buying, even after you run out of things to do in the game (which could happen somewhat quick) theres still tons of mods for the pc version. While oblivions combat is way better, and the world seems much more realistic than morrowind, it does get a little boring exploring the endless forest, as they are all pretty much the same, as are the dungeons. Morrowinds story is also better from what I've gotten through in it. Oblivions isn't quite as good. It's still a blast while it's fun though.
