An interesting image has surfaced on NeoGAF hinting at a new Rockman game... possibly.

Image

The image was found in one of the Rockman 20th Anniversary Art Books. Some of you may feel the image seems familiar, and you would be correct. This is the same piece of art made for the Rockman Complete Works series, which were individual re-releases of all six original Mega Man games for the PS1. But is not the image that intrigues us, but rather the text underneath it...

"The legend is not yet complete..."

Suggestion of a new game? Or a ploy to just keep our hopes up? Who knows...

Cool pic!

Wonder if it has anything to do with Megaman/Rockman Scramble Battle. I certainly hope so! I'm rooting for a new Classic Megaman game, all the way!

It have nothing to do with Megaman/Rockman Scramble Battle since they are for Wii.

This is about legend incomplete which is hint as Rockman 9 or Dash 3 or Rockman X series. That's the reason.. Nothing to do with Scramble Battle... It's separate game.

You will see when further information is coming soon. :)

LOL.. I don't think it will be part of this incomplete story. I am sure they are talk about Rockman 9, Dash 3, or X9. I remembered the interview he mentioned about Rockman 9 and Dash 3 so this is one I believe he was talked about. :)

yep and then we get to see how mega man dies.
i am betting either zero killed him or he died shooting from both arm blasters fully charged at the same time while fighting zero.

If anything, Capcom needs to release a "MegaMan: Powered Up SUPREME".

It'd be like PU, but it could be constantly updated with bosses and stage peices from various games, and not just 2.

Better yet. A PU where you can create and customize your own boss characters, program their attack patterns, build their stages, define their weaknesses, weapons...

*Drools at the thought.*

So essentially Flare, you want Capcom to give you the tools to make your own Megaman game?

At least Flare would be showing a rare burst of initative I hardly see Capcom displaying.

Hey, it would give us something to do during all these waits between game releases.

Do I, FlareMan, want Capcom to make what is essentially RPG maker, but specifically with MegaMan elements?

Is this the question you're presenting to me?

It was a rhetorical question. The point was that is essentially what you were describing.

Mine was a question of sarcasm. Like a rhetorical question, it's purpose is to create an effect, rather than elicit a reply. The effect I wished to portray was a very subtle "Duh".
