My personal opinion is huge, but i'm going to condense the whole thing.

-New main character looks like an emperor penguin with the hair.

-F***ING motorbikes!?

-The "king" is no Kaiba.

- The new rules are going to destroy all competition within the North American circuit because of how monstrously awful these rule changes are. (Advance summon...WTF?)

- The biker duelist thing got played out with the Orichalchos arc way back when. Bringing it back won't stand a "ghost of a chance" (cookie if you get the joke)

- New monsters suck worse than those damned elemental heroes. Seriously, the cards get weaker and weaker. If anyone on this show had a blue eyes the duels would last 5 minutes TOPS.

I honestly can say this will probably kill off any older fans with ease.

Stuff like this makes me shudder when I hear Beyblade is coming back with an all new anime and product line. Just so they don't have top fights while riding motorbikes.

I hardly liked the original Yu-Gi-oh.
I mean I watched it, and it was okay.
Didn't hate it, didn't love it.

Seriously, the whole Egyptians with magical powers was enough in the beginning was enough for me.
But what the hell is this? I mean even Pokemon and Digimon didn't kill themselves this bad...

I lucked out and never bothered to watch it in the first place. Card game-based anime just doesn't seem like it has a whole lot going for it, that it just relies on the hype of card games.

Its decidedly showing here.

wow that is a odd idea for the show it would have been better to just bring Yami Yugi/Atem back and give him a starter deck and watch him beat the pants off of duelist with overkill decks.

I used to actually kinda like the old series... I was completely aware of the fact that it was ridiculous, and a little on the monotonous side, but it was still relatively entertaining...

I've watched a few japanese episodes and I gotta say this series is pretty cool.... Beats standing on your feet the entire duel lol and I mean come on, who wouldn't want a sweet motorcycle to ride on around town? I know they're making the cards real but the D-Wheel I highly doubt. Anyways I hope this show lasts a long time. Can't wait for it to be in english!

About 16 times in that two part little story arc from Dead-Ghost-But-Really-Evil-Clown-Kaiba-Imposter, and a few more times from Bonz in that episode where they kidnap Joey and make him duel in the graveyard episode.

I love the Abridged, incidentally.

I too would highly doubt they make real motorcycles with built in card game peripherals too, which is why 9 year old will run into dump trucks dueling their friends on bikes while gliding down the street. Plus they're a bunch of cheap bastards. Can you just imagine that 'bike' coming up in a conversation though if they did make bikes like that.

"Hey, I just bought a stunt bike, I can do tricks on it on it, what can you do on your bike?"

"Play children's card games in autopilot..."

Ummm, no need to poke fun there, BD, anyways, yeah one day they will make it where the duel disks actually show holograms of fighting monsters and such. Hell, maybe the D-Wheel might become so liked they'd make it for teens and up, who knows, one can only hope. I know I'd love it. Who wouldn't love a motorcycle that has fighting holograms? Anyways I'd say Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is the best of the series so far.
