Well yeah. I've played every Battle Network since 6, mostly because I'm a consumer-whore and every game is just fun for me.
But I bought Star Force 1 and I can't seem to have any will to continue from the second-to-last boss.
It loses the same touch as Battle Network did for me.
Should I get SF2 a try, does it get better than SF1?

I certainly think so, though I also enjoyed SF1.
Several things are better... several things are about the same.
I guess I would say: if you really didn't enjoy the first one, I wouldn't go for the next one. If you're mostly on the fence, you should give it a try.

Star Force 2 has more personality than the first game. Some elements are closer to Battle Network, while others move it away to make it stand on it's own. If SF1 left you with a "meh" feeling, it's possible that SF2 will be able to drag you back in. While I still prefer the Battle Network games by a long shot, I believe that the Star Force series has gained some maturity to make it worth our attention.

SF2 is better than SF1, though i miss some of the cards from 1.If you didn't enjoy the first one,the second one may bring you back to the series. I agree with Dr. Cossack,the series is now getting to be worth our attention.
