Just pre-bought it and am installing now so I can play as soon as it's unlocked the 18th.


There is currently a free demo on Steam, and it got me hooked instantly.


I AM A WUSS. I quit Ocarina of Time because of Gohma. (QUIT. NEVER PLAYED AGAIN.) It is also known I don't like First Person shooters, but Valve once again appears to be the exception to the rule. The teamwork aspect really hooked me, and I am already chuckling at the customizable mods people will be pouring out (Benny Hill theme when the Horde comes running at you? OH GOD THIS WILL BE AMAZING.)


Anyone else purchasing/ purchased this or played the demo?

Played co-op on the demo of it last night with my friend. I was Francis and he was Louis. It was pretty fun, considering I'm not a big FPS player myself. Those freaky zombies will do everything from run at you (so not to be the stereotypical slow-moving zombies most are familiar with), attack you in hordes, capture you (and your team mates), poison you to leaving a smokey substance in their wake for you to choke on.

Only two levels in the demo, so we couldn't play much of it. All I can say is so far, co-op runs smoothly and the enemies are great. Should be a fun co-op experience for the full version, like most FPS end up being.

Doc, you might want to double check by downloading and playing the demo if you haven't already. Tone down your in-game options a tiny bit and I've heard people say PCs they've gotten in 2002 can run this.

I'm getting this for my Xbox. I've been keeping tabs on this game for awhile and played the demo ALOT! I'm a fan of FPS' to so that helped along with the fact I love odds via numbers or size. It makes things so much more epic.

Anyone else find the healing eachother animations funny though?
