I'm going to celebrate the lesser-known side of my heritage with Nova Scotia Blueberry Cream cake...which has several grams of cholesterol in every slice, I'm sure. A stick of butter and 2 cups of sour cream don't make for a healthy snack.

Well this Thanksgiving was actually better than others. I usually just sit there and eat mashed potatoes because I hate everything else. But this year I went out on a loop and tried more of my grandmothers cooking and wondered why I missed out on it all these years.

It was also my 11 month year old niece's first Thanksgiving.

Then I got a text from my friend Emmy asking if she could spend the night Saturday (today). I was super stoked because she lives out in Bowling Green (two hours away) and I haven't seen her in months.
