I know this would likely not happen soon, but what would you like to see in the PSP remake of Megaman X2?

- Zero as a playable character once you collect his three body parts. Something like Beat.
- Better Weapons, Cracking enemy barriers, etc.
- Timed Missile in Overdrive Ostrich level. If missile isn't destroyed in time, you die.
- Intermissions with an objective like seen in the Bonus levels of Donkey Kong Country 3.
- Easy, normal, and xtreme difficulty levels.
- Secret level where Zero's origins are played out in the battle with Sigma and the maverick hunters.
- race with the green biker dude to uncover a secret power up in the bigining level. Nothing important though.

Personally, I think the PSP was a bad system choice for Maverick Hunter X and Powered Up to be released on. Although it's highly improbable, they should re-release those games as downloadable games for WiiWare, PSN, and Xbox Live. Or better yet, even the DS, which was and is a better candidate for a Mega Man game release. Think how cool Powered Up's Level Editor would be with the use of the stylus and Touch Screen. Why didn't you think of this before, Capcom? Why?

Makes about as much sense as Lemmings remade for the PSP, another ideal DS game passed up.

I like the Zero idea, especially if getting him doesn't mean having to start a new file. Instead, just append it to your current X file. This could also mean exclusive dialogue for Zero throughout the game. Cracking barriers was actually one of my gripes in X8, especially as X. I don't think this game really requires any sub-missions or intermissions as you put it. They would just make the game more devious.

I'm with you on this one. I don't have anything against the PSP itself, but it doesn't look like the ideal platform for this game to be released on.

Yeah, Sony was kind of an idiot when it came to the PSP. They made it to be a game system and then turned it into a mini portable computer and didn't concentrate on the games.

This sums it up rather nicely.

For MHX2, who'd the doctor be, anyway? They killed off Cain in MHX1, after all.

Huh, you've got a point there. As far as I'm concerned, Dr. Cain is definitely there for Mega Man X2, but the remake of X1 seems to imply otherwise.

I'm guessing that the main Hunter Base contact, in this case, would be someone from the control room seen in the previous game. I'm guessing that a Reploid would be in charge of focusing the hunter's efforts on eradicating the remaining few mavericks.

Well yeah... but the need for a doctor is this:

Who puts Zero back together again?

Ah-ha, but it turns out he lied to X about that. Shunt his ass off to the Light Capsule in Grizzly's stage and he'll admit to the talking hologram that he doesn't know who put him back together.

The doctor may very well just be Doctor Light as a Force Ghost--I mean, hologram.

What grinds my gears is that sony didn't make the psp with a built in digital camera to save pictures on the memory stick. The Psp would have been great for DTV and radio too, but sony didn't think of it and figured gamers like me are similar to the really dumb dude in the commercials that gets hyped over something that is nothing but a gimmick to cash in on a cow they think is worth $300?

To their defense, though, the PSP does have some nice features. They didn't get a camera in, sure, but you can't have it all within a single device.

Some nice features like the Photo folder and music, but you're on your own with videos. Sony Media Manager is a freeware download where you can rip cd tracks into mp3s. As for wifi and internet, you need a computer with the wifi setup.
