And now for something completely different...
This discussion is about, what would your dream game be?
I myself, would like to make a first person shooter, RPG. Something down the lines of Haloish action, with a Final Fantasy leveling up system. Along with a Castlevania, mapping system. So yes, the levels would be tunnels or corridors.
That is to just the tip of the iceberg of what I would truely want.

You cannot kill what you did not create
A 3-D 3rd person shooter/ platformer Mega Man game, with online multiplayer battles between various, selectable and even customizable Robot Masters, each with their own unique abilities and weapons, with a Part Equipping system that uses Resident Evil 4's briefcase system, except instead of it holding ammo, items, and weapons, it holds various, equippable parts with their own unique properties that increase your favorite Robot Master's capabilities.
You could obtain bolts from winning online, so you can create more parts for your Robot Master, and/or play a single player story mode game, which each share the same Bolt totals (any Bolts collected from one mode would carry over to the other mode).
The multiplayer mode would contain all of the maps inspired by the Robot Master stages to play various multiplayer modes, like death match, team death matches, or an Everyone versus Mega Man mode, which all Robot Masters must battle an extremely overpowered Mega Man, with the ability to copy the Robot Master's weapons he defeats to make him even more threatening!
A cheaper revenue for Capcom to consider this, is to just make remakes of each Mega Man game, rendered in 3-D, but perhaps compile several games into one, setting them up in the same manner as Metroid Prime Trilogy. Say, have Mega Man 1-3 3-D in one, and the next game could consist of Mega Man 4-6 3-D, with transferable data swapping between the two releases, so any data from one game will be carried over to the next game, and vice versa, as if buying the other copy acts as an expansion pack to the one you already own, with all of the representing Robot Masters, Weapons, maps, and power ups in tow.
I'm currently in the midst of doing up concepts for several games. It's actually quite fun!
I'm even working on my very own original game, that has a really has a great premises going for it.
You know, I still haven't found a MMORPG that makes me want to pay for it.
On paper, it looks like a MMORPG is everything that I'd like to have in an online game: a persistent world, groups to play with, large worlds to explore...
But then, reality sets in. First, they are too expensive: at 20$+ CDN a month, I wouldn't feel like I'd get my money's worth. Second, it seems that if you don't play 20+ hours a week, you'll fall so hopelessly behind that your clan / guild / group will drop you as you aren't a match for the fights to come. Third, the grind: as much as I can enjoy games with random battles, I don't want a game focused on killing desert rats for hours and hours. Fourth, the duration of the game: I like to be able to play my games for years (if they are worth it), I don't want to buy something only to see the servers closing down a single year later. Heck, I was playing a PC game from 1994 just yesterday!
With that said, I can't really come up with the description of a perfect game: there are many titles being released that I enjoy very much. What I feel is more of a loss about what could be yet never seems to get done. I could go with a MMORPG that doesn't have the problems I highlighted above, ideally in a sci-fi setting. Beyond that, I'll keep doing what I've been doing until now: pick up games that sound interesting and that I feel I could enjoy!

Dream games:
- MMO with the freedom, economy, and customization of EVE Online but a lower learning curve and easier controls and wording.
- FPS with an actual fricking HEALTH BAR that doesn't constantly regenerate. No super soldiers. No ridiculous cover schemes. No stupid stealth parts that feel out of place. No WW2. No Space Marines.
- Some of the SD Gundam G Generation games to come stateside.
- A third person shooter/action game with RPG elements in a believable everyday setting with a story that actually could happen.
Oh, and Doc, you might give EVE Online a try; it doesn't require grinding to level up necessarily; you level up over time; the only thing that actually can take time is making money and learning to understand the interface.

Hey beautiful people, you're better off trying to e-mail me than message me on here.
I've got to admit that EVE Online is one of the few games in the genre that catched my attention. The setting looks fun. There's still the issue of the 15$ / month fee, of course (not as abusive as some), and the learning curve. I watched my brother try to get into the game, and it looked painful.

Yes, but you can pay for your subscription with in-game currency too. So once you're on your feet, you don't have to worry about 15 a month. Learning curve is terrifying according to my cousin though.

Change it up ya'll...
The new discussion shall be, out of all comic book heroes and villians, who are your favorites?
Hero, Ghost Rider, hard to explain really, besides the flaming skull and wicked bike that is.
Villian, Venom, how can anyone not like a brain eating symbiote from another planet.

Y'know, I love Spiderman. The pre-Quesada one anyway.
Batman's fun too. Although I gotta say that Captain America is my favorite right now.
I've always liked Iron Man. It's just a dude in badass armor. I always thought that was cool.
Spider-man,Bat man, Iron man, and....
Deadpool!!!
Me? My favorite superhero is God Man.

The next change up shall be...
Who are you cheering for in the NFL?
My cousin is going for the Giants, my uncle is going with Broncos. I myself, believe it or not, is cheering for the Bengals.
What is everyone elses take...

No one. I'm not a fan of sports, really. The only sport I was ever any good at was soccer.
I wouldn't even be able to name a single NFL team, I'm afraid...

I live in Cleveland; and, by law of syllogism, this makes me a diehard Browns fan. Unfortunately, this means i'm practically suicidal this time of year as well. Well, when your team's players are filing grievances to the player's union about your coach, you know you're doing something wrong. Not to mention that the Buckeyes are sucking now too.
That said, I eagerly await basketball season just like every other person cursed to follow sports in this damn town.

A new topic is at hand...
Lets talk about the Saw movies, considering number 6 is coming out soon.
I have all the saw movies on DVD so far, I personally find the movies a breath of fresh air. Among the horror movies of todays standards, that is.
Number 2 is actually my favorite of all of them so far.

I don't care for any of the Saw movies. I don't like watching things that disgust me.
Saw started out good, namely 1-3, but after that it just got stupid.
I may or may not watch all of them over again in a succession once the series "ends".
