I used to live in a different province is all, close to the city I was born in. The house used to be owned by someone with a lot of exotic pets, so it was filthy with many spider webs, monkey poop and all sorts of bugs when my parents moved in before my birth. We moved when I was a year old though, lived here ever since.

On a sidenote, what is this "Monk" series? I am not familiar with it.

Monk is a TV series, now with something like 7 or 8 seasons, featuring a police detective called Adrian Monk. Imagine someone able to pull cases together as well as Columbo, except that this guy has about all of the phobias imaginable and is full of weird habits, like trying to avoid walking on the lines of a sidewalk. It can get hilarious pretty fast!

Monk essentially has the worst case of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder known to man. The one with the worst case of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder known to woman is Hannelore of the Questionable Content webcomic.

In fact, the guy who plays as Monk, is the main hero in the movie, Thirteen Ghosts.

On topic, I lived in multiple houses and apartment complexes in my home town.

Oy, right now, I live in three different places. My dad's in L.A.; mom's in Boston; and i've been living at my real "home" outside of Cleveland. Lived down by Columbus before that, and in Cincinnatti.

Would like to be in San Diego later in life, but Cleveland is a good stomping ground for now. At least around here everyone's used to being beat down by an incompetent local government, so when the national government started sucking; no one really noticed.

And another change up...

Out of all the music industries, through out the times, what one artist will you always listen to?

With me, Slipknot falls short, behind Alice Cooper. I grew up listening to Alice Cooper, thanks to my father. Such as these Songs, Years Ago, Steven, Wind-up Toy, From the Inside, Brutal Planet.

Believe it or not, but Billy Joel is my number 3 on the list. He is one of the most, multitalented musicians to have lived.

There's something funny about mentioning Alice Cooper right after a discussion on Monk...... but you won't get it unless you've seen a specific episode of the series.

I'm not a big listener of modern music, so I don't have any specific names to add to the topic. From time to time, I just listen to whatever is playing on the radio.

I'm going to have to say Necro's list with the addition of Rush and the Doors. Seriously, classic rock basically owns this category because it's already old music that people still constantly listen to, otherwise no one would know about it.

A strange change up...

Ghouls and Ghosts, don't forget the shadow dwellings.

It may not be October, but I am curious. Has anyone ever experience a ghostly scare? I personally have on two different occasions.

When I was about 12, living in Colorado. I was alone at home, while everyone else was at my grandmas. I was hearing louding vivid voices, coming directly above me. No matter what room I was in. But here is the wierd thing, I was hearing it in my handicapped ear.

My second time, was when I was 19. I went for a walk around town, listening to my music. About 1:30ish a.m., it felt like some one was walking next to me. A song or two later, I felt the breath of someone on the back of my neck, saw of the breath drifting from behind me.

I turn quickly around and all around, no one was close by. this particular case happened two nights in a row.

Any one else!?

These experiences made me believe they exist.

Yes, I had a weird experience when I was in grade one.

It was the morning, and I was gathering pieces of Lego before school for some impending day in which 100 days of school had gone by, and each student had to bring in 100 pieces of something to share. While I was looking for Lego in my room, I checked under my bed and I instantly fell into what seemed like a dream like state. While I was looking underneath my bed, there appeared this life-sized marionette with a long chin and a pointed, curled hat, which made his head looked shaped like a crescent, with a white face and black clothes, who just starred at me as I gazed back. When I tried to move, by moving my head, the marionette would mirror my exact movements. Besides the slight movements from my head, it seemed I couldn't move or get up at all, as if I was stuck and completely immobilized. Just as this realization crossed my mind, the marionette instantly closed in towards me, like it knew I was vulnerable. But just as the marionette almost got up from underneath my bed, and closed right in front of my face, I felt a hand on my shoulder, which "awakens" me from this hypnotic state. I look behind myself to see what it was and the hand on my shoulder was none other than my mom's, whom then asks me what I was doing just leaning there on the floor. Then, when I looked back underneath my bed, that strange marionette was gone.

Might have been a ghost, could have just have been a daydream. All I know, I have never experienced anything else like it in my entire life.

Well, I in particular have not seen any actual ghosts, but my brother has at least on one occasion, having seen our grandfather on our mother's side (who died before either of us were born) when we were small children. This had sent him running right to my parents' bedroom, of course.

But despite that, I have to admit my family tends to display a freakish amount of paranormal and supernatural activity at times, especially with my older cousin, my father, my brother, and myself.

Both my parents have several stories on thier own behalves. My dad on the most part had one of the creepiest though.

One night while he was closing down the kitchen at his work, he and a co worker heard a childs voice coming from a particular hallway. As they look around a little bit, they both at the same time saw a blonde little girl in a blue dress. They followed her into a room that has no other door or even a window to exit out of.

This particular room, my dad even showed me the room, has no hiding places for anyone of any size to hide.

Back to the story, as they stared into this room, they heard the same laughter come from behind them. All they saw after they turned around was a portion of a blue dress, dissapear into a solid wall.

My mom, in the same building, from time to time. Could hear a bowling ball roll and hit some pins. But the place was a restraunt at the time, it used to be a bowling alley 20 years from before it became a kitchen.

In general, my home town has a great number of ghost stories, if I can find a site about them, I'll post it.

Double poster alert... :P

Who here believes, that there are giant creatures still dwelling in the ocean? I am not talking about Whales and Sharks, I'm talking down the lines of the Lochness Monster, or even the Leviathen.

I ask, because scientists have discovered more in outer space than they have on our own planet. There are more mysteries on Earth, compared to space.

The Kraken was said to be a mythical and/or fictionary beast, but has been proven to exist. The Ceolocanth (spelling?) was said to be extinct, but three species have been found over the recent years.

What does everybody have on this take?

It'd be weird to me for these creatures not to exist. Legends and myths of creatures like dragons had to have started from something that was alive at one point. As it is, sea serpents are by far the mythical creature that are spotted the most out of any other mythical creature, regardless of whether its supposed to be found on land or in water.

Maybe there's something in there, maybe not. If there's anything to be found, it must be in remote places: the middle of the Pacific ocean, large lakes and seas, and so on. Even then, the populations can't be too numerous else we'd already know about it.

The oceans are one place that we've yet to really explore. Outer space is one thing, our seas is something else that I believe is worth checking into.

There is also the beast of Lake Champlain, here in the U.S.

If such creatures truely existed, there probably wouldn't be very many of them. Other wise, we might now a little more about them.

NASA needs to use thier knowledge and equipment to do extensive research in our lakes and oceans. Cause if you ask me, Nessie along with other lake creatures, could be tracked a little better, if the right people were to just try.

Dragons are said to be no more, haw. Check out the Komodo Dragon. There is a good example, in the bible, mentions a creature called the Behemoth. Scientists have a reason to believe the Hippo is the closest thing to a behemoth. Even the Kraken, I think, is also mentioned in the bible.

So, where does that leave the leviathen? Perhaps the Anaconda, or is it another name for Nessie early on in life?

Oddly enough, I find reality to be made up as much as any book anymore. Or is it just me.

Switching up yet again...

What is your favorite Board Game? Such as Monopoly, Chess, Checkers.

I personally have always enjoyed Life, but my least favorite is Monopoly. My cousine and uncle take the fun out of the game anymore, especially my cousine. If he starts loosing, he gets all hissy and hardly tries anymore. In fact, he is like that with any game we play anymore.

He becomes such an infant if he starts loosing, becomes a total ham when he wins.

Anyways, since I don't have the game Life, I don't like playing board games anymore.

I'm a fan of board games, I've got a decent set of those at home. Risk and Monopoly are my favorites. I also enjoy the occasional match of Mario Party-e: it's simple but enjoyable for everyone.

I don't play any of these often enough, though. I was actually thinking a few days ago of asking my friends if they would be interested in scheduling some matches, say, once every two or three weeks. I think that this could be very fun!

I just remembered a board game called Hotel, where you can actually buy property, and can actually piece together each place, if you land on the correct spot.

Snakes and Ladders is always fun, I can hardly get tired of that game, no matter how many times I loose.
