I'm only average at best: I don't practice it enough to be able to claim that I'm "good". I wouldn't mind playing it more often, though. Maybe I should complete my MegaChess rewrite.

I was on the chess team/club back in High school? I could beat everyone but one person, she always got me, so, I'd guess based on that, I'm average.
But, I normally try to finish a game early, and not drag it out.

lol! And this topic was never made before? Well, chess is alright; it's not that great of a game not to mention it's based on war. But, I don't have any clue what to do the first few moves, because I move when I see a) oppurtunity or defense. Like most like games (no that's not a typo), strategy and logic is pretty easy, and in this particular game confuses others. However, I can still be considered to "suck" because the first 20 moves or so are likely completely random, therefore people wouldn't often like to play with me anyway even though I'm supposed to feign interest at times in order to properly be a geek, or if it's boredon and/or what the only person left wants to do, therefore like in most things one would never much improve. (Sure, you could play on a computer or something... but if there's a computer around I'm not going to waste my time playing pointless (pointless games as opposed to non-pointless games) games because I need to actually attempt to REALLY accomplish something (visible dent in work that is - yeah right) once in awhile.)
I hate both chess and checkers, only because I was good at them as a kid and now I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing.
