Honestly, when I heard of this, I kinda went like "holy shit". It's not every day that someone attempts to drive in on the Queen. I feel for the family members of those who died.

The driver of the car died earlier today at about 2:30 AM in the hospital before they could question him.

It really is, usually, all things considered. Looking at our history the Netherlands have been more the country other folks go to when things go bad for them, even moreso than Switzerland. This was quite a shocker to be sure, all things considered, especially since the royal family don't hold any big political power. They're more like a symbol, really, but I guess that's what in turn might have made them a target.
