Now, it's time to pick the topic apart. Is there a basis to why the robots are fighting. Plus, what are the restrictions? You said no Mega man, Zero, Bass, Proto Man, or Wily Bosses (If i'm reading this right). Well then, WHO THE HELL IS LEFT? Cossack's robots, Mavericks, and anyone from the Zero series. Plus you never restricted X, Axl, or plenty of other main characters that could wreck the thread.

My point? Think before you post; come up with something clear and logical, then write it. This looks like just another pointless attempt to garner attention to a useless topic you made because you were bored.

Big words. I joined this site when I was 11; anyone who remembers my initial joining and the following year or two will tell you I was a little turd. But you know what, posts like this made me take a look and start applying thought to what I was doing on here. Plus, how am I acting smart? Ringman, here's my overall gist to you; you claim maturity. Act the part. Show us you have the ability to write coherently and with logic. I have faith that people can always improve; it's what I did. You like Mega Man, and you have opinions on it; write them methodically; don't just construct some slipshot arena RP and assume everyone knows what's going on when you wrote two sentences and said you were leaving it alone for awhile. Think about your response or topic, then post.

I'm with Dranzer on this, really. We've given him enough chances to shape up without getting on his case, but that's not cutting it, and honestly, I don't want to see a rise of a second Catman.

Maybe because that's not the purpose of this topic.



And my point here is that this RPG forum doesn't need to be taken as seriously as you're taking it. If there's something so bad, it'll be handled, whether or not you contribute.

If you're really so smart, then why should you even bother trying to prove it? I believe everybody here is smart, some just haven't learned certain things yet. You think ring man77 even reads the things you post about him?



As long as you keep degrading him, why should he listen to you? You should think about how you're saying things before you say them!



This is a MESSAGE BOARD. You come to message boards to chat and have a good time. Not everyone has decent grammar and you don't need to in order to chat with people here. And I think even less people are going to want to come here if some of the members are too strict. I think ring man's posts are still, in the least, readable. They aren't perfect, but they're not bothering me either. Is it really going to kill you to have to read a couple of posts that you say, aren't acceptable? It's in the rules to not spam, yes, but some people who join message boards for the first time aren't going to always automatically know that right off the bat.

And the whole "well, you're doing it, so I can do it too" defense really only proves that you have no real good point here. If your point was really so profound, why do you need to justify it?



I wasn't feeling anything about myself. Frankly, I was getting sick of your attitude towards members for not having decent grammar. If I'm being "mean" to you, it's because of your own actions. Call it what you will.



Is it his job to do as you say, even if you are right? Again, spammy posts aren't going to kill you. Not everyone is perfect. I think a more friendly, true board member might throw him a couple of tips here and there, but don't go "chaining him up" because you feel it's the only way to really motivate someone. That if anything, probably makes him feel like spamming more, or simply listen less to you!



I'll say it again. BAD GRAMMAR IS NOT GOING TO KILL YOU. You should just except the fact that no matter how much you try and convince spammers to get their act together, there will always be more of them to come. If you really felt good about being here, you could learn to deal with that, and try to enjoy more of what makes this place good, instead of leaning on what's wrong with it. As for thought, they're are plenty of topics with thought in mind! Stick to those if these types of threads are so bad enough to merit a "BD beatdown"!

Look, it's obvious you like this place, you highly respect the sanctity of this place, and you want to make things as perfect as possible. This place is what it is, with or without your say. Spammers will come and go, so just let it be. If they care enough about staying, they'll eventually come around on their own, for respect of the other members here. If they don't, then they'll leave. Simple as that. Why should they respect members that jump on most, if not, all of their mistakes? People can learn things on their own. In fact, that's how most of us here learned when becoming model members! (You know who you are!) We didn't have someone constantly leaning over us telling us what to do!

And if you think I'm just doing the same to you, well, maybe you should try asking yourself whether or not there's a good reason for it. And if you think ring man should be the one to ask himself that, well, maybe he will, but not if he's constantly being hampered by it! And I think it should be obvious who's doing the most criticizing here overall, if that's clarifying enough for you.
