I'm moving to LA California in about four days, and my Mom decided that since she never got me a graduation present, she wanted to get me a laptop to take with me on my journey out west. She said if I could find one I liked for under $400 she would cover it.

Frankly, I don't need a fancy gaming Rig because all I really play is Emulations of my favorite classics, and Ragnarok Online, which will practically run on a T1000 Calculator.

I remember saving a link to a site comparing a laptop to the Mac Air, saying it shared all the same features at a fraction of the price, but it wasn't a Mac... and now the link is MIA. Good old Google isn't really helping me out right now, I believe on account of a virus that keeps redirecting me to bogus referral websites whenever I click on links Goggles provides me with.

My requirements are rather basic...

*Weight less than 12 pounds*
*Battery life longer than 2 hours*
*Screen bigger than 8 in*
*Min/ 1Gig Ram*
*Min/ 80 Gig Hard*
*Preferably Windows XP*
*WiFi ready*


Hopefully somebody can help me out, if not I guess I'll just go to Wallmart and get whatever happens to be cheapest. You don't want me shopping at WALLMART do you?

I got a decent Toshiba laptop for $700 at Best Buy, so I'm confident you can find cheaper. Although, the cheapest I've seen 'em is $500.
