Now here's something finally different. It's simple. Someone makes a riddle and whoever solves it, gets to make the next riddle. Anyone can guess as many times as they want, however, try to refrain from making consecutive posts in a row. We don't want this topic getting all cluttered up.

To try and simmer down the difficulty, we'll make it so all riddles must be Mega Man related. It can be absolutely anything from any Mega Man franchise. Just make sure the answer to your riddle is a noun (person, place or thing).

Another thing, only one riddle allowed at a time! No making multiple riddles when one is already in play. If you think you got the answer right to the current riddle, wait until the one who made the riddle confirms your answer as correct before you start making another.

Also, no multi guessing! Only one guess per post!

With that said, I'll start.

I've been around since the beginning of time
my origins are as true as his,
My strength is to run and hide
I roam the universe with my kin.

Should my adversary turn around
I may reveal my face
Turn back, give me all you've got
shyness keeps me safe.

Who am I? (This one should be easy)

Note that you don't have to use the same style of riddle making as me. Your riddle doesn't have to rhyme and it doesn't need to be three paragraphs. Use any riddle style you want! Add some variety!

Try to end each riddle with Who/What/Where am I, based on what your answer is, so people have some clue.

As for clues, I'll include some examples based on some categories people can use.

Clue Category #1 : Extra Riddle; adds a new passage in addition to the one in play.

Clue Category #2 : Which Series. The person making the riddle reveals which Mega Man series(s) the answer is from.

Clue Category #3 : Answer Contents. Reveals how many letters, numbers, characters, words, symbols and syllables are in the answer.

As a rule, only one clue can be revealed a day!

Only one character comes to mind, especially with the 'roam the universe' and the 'hide and seek' part.

I want to say Duo, but there are no backstories behind him, therefore, my next guess would have to be ProtoMan. Mainly due to the 'my origins are as true as his'.

Why didn't I think of it before, Dr. Wily. He represents all of what you said.

If it's from the original series, I'm noggin scrathing.

If it's from the X series, my guess would be Sigma.

Other than that, I would have to think about, who else in any other series could this represent.

The real question I that comes into my mind is, who else would run and hide?

Here's an explanation:

"I've been around since the beginning of time" makes sense, as Mets have been around since the first game.

"my origins are as true as his," "his" refers to Mega Man, of course, and Mets have been around for as long as Mega Man has been.

"My strength is to run and hide" Mets have a very evasive strategy.

"I roam the universe with my kin." Not referring to the actual "universe", but rather the whole universe of Mega Man. There are also an abundance of Mets as we all know, in almost all games in the whole Mega Man universe. This validates the "kin" part.

"Should my adversary turn around, I may reveal my face" Tip: Mets reveal themselves if you turn around....like Boos in Super Mario!

"Turn back, give me all you've got, shyness keeps me safe." Should seem fairly self explanatory. Most weapons don't harm Mets while they're "hiding". This is where the "shyness" factor comes in.

I did make this one a hard one, but if you think about certain things, storyline wise, it is mentioned. Doesn't mean it's from the first game.

Think each line differently if you need to.

I think it's the Enigma; the laser cannon used to destroy/delay the collision of the Eurasia space colony.

The main clue was the 'Puzzle me' part, cause X and Zero needed to collect the four pieces.
