Only through revival, was I conceived,
within the original, I am nowhere to be seen.
My skills now seem obsolete, as superior models continue to arise,
time and time again, but still I am unique.
Precision is my forte, in combat and in my duties,

To just try something, I will go with Bass.EXE. The one after BN3 if I need to pick a specific version of him, since he isn't the original Bass either and doesn't appear in the first game. I think... I may have him messed up.

...yes, that makes a big difference. 'cuz due to your wording I thought the whole time it couldn't be a Battle Network character since they are re-imaginings of characters seen in the Original series.
