K, how about the instant death laser beams from Quickman's stage in Mega Man 2, and the instant death laser beams in Quickman's stage in Network Transmission?

Things they have in common, well, pretty much everything.

Good guess, however, it does not work in riddle 1 because of one line:Falling from the ceiling

keep in mind; it says "AFTER falling through a shaft"

Put it this way; After you fell through a long shaft, what did you face on the road to victory?

LOLRLY? That guess is CORRECT!!! For riddle 1.

Drops of acid were a major impediment in the final level of MM2, dealing massive damage (1/3rd of lifebar)

Explanation from riddle- After falling through a shaft- you fell through a 3 screen shaft before you faced these.

My task is to destroy- these things were DEADLY!!!

Mindless I may be- acid doesn't think

I will fall until you do- for some reason, there's no end to the acid falling. SB, you get 1 point lol.

The second riddle from bn- a few more details.

It is not acid, yet looks EXACTLY the same as the MM2 stuff.

it is not a random encounter enemy. Those are all the hints you get for that one.

AAAND, Yllisos gets the riddle. You DO see what they have in common, right? They have the same purpose, and look exactly alike. The riddle refers to the forms that hamper you on the Path to Alpha, that you can only see with the Navi Customizer part.

the dave gets another one...

the Dark Romance part, refers to the suicide intentions. Very few pits are fake and lead into secret areas.

A good example, the very first time I played Mega Man 4, playing through Dive Mans stage, I had no lives and very little life left. I jumped into the pit that had the Balloon Adapter. Both me and my brother were shocked about it.

All wrong. Arkane, you are further from the answer than Cossack. It is NOT the Troll Face (lol) Darkman has 3 different pallettes,not faces. This time around, I'll give any hint- you must ask for it though, and I can refuse to answer if it would reveal the answer. Also, no yes/no's

How does a ninja shadow assasin kill slowly? I don't get it. What was the reasoning for darkman?

My reasoning on DarkMan is based on two main elements. The changing faces / palettes, as you pointed out; along with the "ancient King" being Serenade, who is guarded by a few special Navis.

I figured the ancient king would be Serenade too, and I didn't remember how many color schemes DarkMan had, but it seemed right. I guessed Mist Man for his connection to Serenade and for his use of poisons.

(And I lol'd @Arkane's post.)

I'm giving the chess pieces to Doc since that was his second guess, and instead changing my answer to Copy Man. Because... I dunno. Copy Man!

Keywords- long, slow death.

3 faces refers to 3 exact faces. That distingushes it from anything else.
Also, Serenade is what? 20 years old? 30? Gee, you people are young, if that's ancient

Btw- Remember, you can ask for any hint, as long as it is not a yes/no.
