While I am stuck with the console version of TF2, I still honestly prefer that over COD--it just isn't any fun to me. Also, that airport level... why should anything like that ever be OK?

CoDMW2 sucks.

Ok, done bein' an ass.

CoDMW2 isn't as good as MW1. Here's why: guns are terribly imbalanced, maps are way too campy, nukes are dumb, taking out juggernaut while keeping stopping power is dumb, and knifing is broken without commando.

MW1 didn't have ANY of these problems aside from weapon balance, but that was only with M16. I love MW1, but, while MW2 is fun occasionally, it definitely was a step down.

But hey, Infinity Ward is gone now pretty much, and Activition pretty much neutered the CoD series so whatever...

Well it finally happened, I finally got MW2 and I gotta say, I love it. The campaign was awesome, I like the multiplayer(when I have 5 friends with me on the same team haha) and I like Spec Ops, but only with a good friend of course, it's too hard on my own sometimes. Anyways all in all, great game, I see no problems with it. Yes each map has campers, but what game like this doesn't? Each and every game out there is gonna have something like that no matter what.

Anyways, good campaign, multiplayer and Spec Ops. I can't wait to play it again. I'm a lvl 25 by the way so yeah lol See ya!

I finally played it when Steam had a free multiplayer weekend. What a crappy game...

Then again, I grew up on Unreal Tournament and Quake, proper shooters from a lost era. Those didn't try to be realistic, they tried to be fun. Fast action and crazy gunfights, that's what makes a good shooter. MW2 seemed like it was trying to be realistic while being an action game at the same time, but it seemed to suck at both. The weird messages onscreen coupled with the sound effects gave it a "this game has a lot of testosterone" vibe that seemed to be compensating for something.

I've bashed Counter-Strike for the same reasons, but MW2 doesn't seem as well done. I'd rather play CS.

Man I need at least 5 other people to team up with me, those who use mics anyways, but I can't find anyone, well anyone who's on at the times I am anyways haha. Oh well... OH! And did you guys know they're making Modern Warfare 3!?!?!

Judging by the internal strife with the publisher and Infinity Ward, "manufacturing" Modern Warfare 3 might be the way to put it.

I wonder if Modern Warfare 3 is gonna be just as good or better than Modern Warfare 3, well one way to find out, gotta wait till it comes out. Oh, on the topic of Modern Warfare 2 though I'm one kill away from getting the thermal scope for my Barrett .50cal, I just need one more kill, but I need a friend to let me kill them in 3rd person cage match haha.

MW3 probably won't be anywhere near the same quality as MW2, seeing as how alot of the important people have abandoned ship, and the majority of the remnants are suing Activision.

If you NEED your realistic military shooters, you should opt for Bad Company 2 instead.

TF2 is still the best FPS though.

Come to think of it, I've heard that Infinity Ward is dangerously close to being disbanded.

All I see on Kotaku these days is "X has left IW." I will admit that they know what people want, so going independent can only mean that they're free from the shackles of big-publisher infuence.

Well, I just got the Stimulus Package so I've deleted my topic about it, I've managed to try out one of the new maps, I like it so far, it's pretty cool, can't wait to try out the rest, anyways yeah umm... That's all I have to say, bye lol
