As expected, we get an unusual christmas update.

Adds a ton of cash shop items, weapons, and hats. I opened my three crates and got a new demoman sword, a Spy Detective Noir hat, and some sort of Medic fedora.

The new map is medieval themed, so guns are a no-no. It's melee only, sans a couple exceptions, such as the Medic's new crossbow and the Sniper's huntsman. It's my favorite map. Expertly themed, featuring Scottish battle music, great textures, and a unique castle-defense kind of feeling.

It's actually a ton of fun, and the map has probably the best theming so far. When you breach the castle, music plays. Healthpacks are giant slabs of ham, etc. Whatsmore, the text in the chat is run through a filter and comes out as old english when on the map. It's hilarious.

Also, I found the TF2 project lead playing in a server running the map. These two images are now the best images on my computer.




Seriously, I don't think there's a better feeling than scaring the creator of TF2, causing him to run from me. It was such a perfect night.
