99 years ago today at 11:40PM the RMS Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic ocean. 2 hours and 40 minutes later the "ship of dreams" was to rest at the bottom of the sea forever. We gather in this topic today to remember those lost in this disaster. May they rest in peace. We also gather here to remember the ones who survived the incident. They have all passed away. The youngest one Millvina Dean, died at the age of 97.

Its hard to believe. When I was a kid, there were documentaries on all the time on TV with interviews with some of the survivors. :(... now there aren't any.

In memory of .hack//Chat I say one last time: "Let's meet again sometime, in that place we love to go. The Root town of Mac Anu!"
.... .hack//kyat....we miss you dearly

Already 99 years? It's been that long hasn't it? I learned quite a lot of the Titanic in a National Geographic video I watched when I was a kid. I didn't watch the movie though.
It's quite ironic that they called it unsinkable when it actually met that fate. Sometimes, I thought it should have had and armoured hull like that of an old battleship.

The capitalism of my thoughts................... Nostalgia, anyone!? Ah, never mind.......You're better off not knowing.

You know its sister ship the Britannic had a double layered armored hull and the water tight doors were raised quite a few more levels, some reached the top deck. It sank too though.
