1: Site got a redesign:

http://teamfortress.com/

2: The actual uber update. It's confirmed we're getting Meet the Medic in this. TODAY, however, we get info on some mafia-inspired weapons.

"Welcome to Day One of the Über Update--the biggest, most ambitious update in the history of Team Fortress 2."

Isn't this the case with, like, half of their updates? :P

There are some good weapons in what was announced so far, I would like to get my hands on some of these. I do get to wonder how you deal with large amounts of items, however. Once you reach something like 30 shotgun alternatives for a given class, how can you quickly tell apart the weapons that you might want to use someday compared to those that won't ever fit your playing style, and thus you'll never want to use?

Find the ones you don't want to use and start turning them into scrap.

Just take a quick look and see if any of the weapons have a special quality that makes you want to use them. Try and obtain them, try them for a few rounds, ignore the rest.

Just an issue of constant filtering.
