My first reaction was "O-o DUDE WTF IS THIS THING!?" zomg so many usb ports lolz. You certainly dont need to worry about not having enough ports!

Won't that possibly overload a computer's power supply? I know that USB uses a very small amount of power but with this, it's times 80.
A USB port can provide up to 2.5 Watts of power. With 80 ports, you get up to 200 Watts. A typical computer power supply can handle that, assuming you don't try to run a greedy video card at the same time.
There's a technical limit on the amount of power that the bus can provide, though, so it probably wouldn't work directly. If you were to plug it in the wall, though, you'd be in business. That's how powered USB hubs work: get the data connection from the computer, but draw the current itself directly from the wall.
